Hey guys. Love your work. So I'm tortured with the upcoming release of the Pope of Greenwich Village and the desperate hours being a double feature. Any photoshop savvy people on here feeling the same way? Would love Some individual art for these and praying this forum can help. Thanks in advance guys

made a new Friday the 13th cover. im going to make the paramount Friday's in this style with some pics that i found. help yourself if you want them.

Update: 12 Warner designs finished.

I have attempted to make Blu-ray versions of some, but they don't translate to the different dimensions very well.

So, I was thinking of either just slapping a Blu-ray logo on the spine of the DVD versions or not even bother with a logo at all for anyone that wants them. Any suggestions / ideas?

Yeah, most people don't realize just how different the dimensions are. Changing from one to the other often requires a complete rebuild and/or change of layout.

I like these covers you've done very much and would hope you take the time to do Blu versions somewhere down the line. Excellent work.

One more from my "abandoned projects" file. I started gathering stuff for a Blade Runner cover three years ago but could never muster any enthusiasm for it. While browsing the 'net I came across a few of the old VHS covers for Blade Runner and it struck me that what attracted me to do a cover for this film in the first place were the vintage Warner covers I remembered from my youth.

In the end I did three designs, based on the UK, the Spanish and the Nordic covers for Blade Runner. The specs are the same on all of them, so any enterprising soul can mix-and-match fronts and rears to their liking.

When re-interpreting vintage VHS covers for Blu-ray I always come up against some instances where the design just doesn't make sense for the different formats. VHS boxes are tall and thin, Blu-ray covers are just about square. Some things have to be left out or changed, but I try to keep as much of the original as possible in there. There are things here and there, like the taglines (translated from their original Spanish and Swedish, mind), which I wouldn't have put in myself, but they are there for history's sake.

Now, none of these represent the "ultimate" Blade Runner cover to my mind, but they were fun to do and that's all I want out of life for the moment. Feel free to PM me for copies.

Hey Keung,

Could you please pm me you warner brothers dvd covers?
Trust me, I understand how difficult it is to redesign the vhs covers for blu ray.
Hence why I only have one cbs fox cover with the movie credits on the cover somewhere.
I just couldn't make them fit right anywhere else.
All I can suggest is that you keep trying, and keep up the great work.

The forum has gotten pretty busy lately. Its great to see all the new work people are doing. Finished up a couple today myself. Although of limited appeal, I'm sharing none the less.

First up is a US style cover with original poster art for Mr. Baseball, which has been released on Blu-ray in Germany with a fairly mediocre, but still HD, transfer.

Second is a cover for Lionheart using original poster art, but the specs on the back include listing of a second disc for the "director's cut" disc that has also been released in Germany.

I did covers for all 8 films using the book artwork. They're on euphoricfx.
