C'mon, Guys - you should both know you're not supposed to think too much when you watch a Hollywood movie...

Ha ha. Yeah, well that's a fantasy thing I could let myself believe. But all that water continuously falling from nowhere? If it was an effect caused by some sort of magical source or something similar I could believe it.

Perhaps the top of the floating mountains are densely populated by meerkats, just like that floating island in Life of Pi 3D. Due to their high metabolism rates and their population size, they tend to pee a lot... just my hypothesis...

See? That's what happens when you over-analyze a typical Hollywood movie...

Lol, you might be onto something. But that's a hell of a lot of piss. Imagine the smell...

I thought about that when I first saw Avatar. I assume it comes from all the water vapor in the air, which pools on the Islands then flows off? Science!

Its not CGI. Its an optipolitical illusion. The Islands aren't really floating but are rather being supported by a glass nozzle with water INSIDE it. Much like those gimmicky water faucets that appear to be floating.

Just watched Escape from planet earth. Nice 3D and they really used alot of 3D effects with the objects going over the black bars. Really enjoyed it as did the kids. Tomorrow night is Hansel and Gretel!
