Yes, I'm on Prime (I caved a little while ago) and it's good to know stuff arrives next day (and I can track it).

I think someone got their orders next day (via free shipping) - check with Gtrekker.

A spreadsheet for the next 6 months is already produced with ins and outs and the saving pot. Recently sold PS3 and a shed load of DVD's and slipless BR's to CEX and sold a lot of UV codes.

So you are spot on.
ricster - don't give the game away!

No need to justify.

You're a Blu-Ray Billionaire, let's leave it at that

Tried injecting a bit of logic into this conversation, but I see that I'm wasting my time.
(I'm just coming back to emphasis that I didn't intend any offence by that comment - I put the at the end to try and get that across).

Arrived today

[Show spoiler]

Really like the compact size of The Big Bang Theory boxset

[Show spoiler]

Surprised Crash came with a slip as I wasn't expecting it to come with one

[Show spoiler]

Surprised the Hitchcock set came today from Amazon.ca, as the delivery estimate was saying sometime next month. Like the reversible sleeve also.

My Excel 2013 spreadsheet containing my budget got corrupted again yesterday, and so I had to recreate it from an older copy. It's much nicer looking and although it doesn't look a whole lot different, it's more organized and easier to manage. It contains every pre-order and all my other expenses

I can then decide whether I want to splash out on any offers like the Amazon 3 for £17 offer. I'll hopefully be back later with a picture of today's items, depending on what comes in the post

A terrific day for QUALITY steelbooks.

UK - 13 Assassins - Zavvi Exclusive
High gloss finish with clear lacquer finish to promote brushed steel

UK - Zatoichoi - Zavvi Exclusive

Will do - but it'll be a while, as they're part of my Xmas Blu-Ray selection box (from my other half) - so the report will be a bit delayed

She indulges my BR/DVD passions... last year it was Eisenstein and Tarkovsky (and other Russian stuff).

This year I've been watching a lot of Bollywood (contemporary stuff - Agneepath/Don2/Lootera/Barfi etc) and also classics like Boot Polish.

Who knows were my viewing eye will wander next year!? LOL

Bollywood is the only cinema I've been unable to 'get into'. So much so that I've neglected Indian cinema due to the risk of any of the actors dressing up as Butlins Elvis impersonators and breaking into horrendously cliche love songs.

You should check out Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, it's on netflix also. Bollywood does good cinema but the good ones are unfortunately hidden by more clichéd and OTT movies

I know what you mean about singing, but it's inherent to Hindi cinema really... and modern movies aren't like the older ones (better production value for a start).

However, a lot of recent movies have songs in them in a more Hollywood (background' way - ie a musical montage) and others are starting to tackle things in a different way (integrating music differently).

Bollywood movies I can think of that don't have in your face song and dance numbers (ie more Western) include Cocktail (romantic drama), Don2 (action movie - I liked this one), Barfi (Oscar nominee for India - a sort of Amelie-esque movie - has a great style). In terms of Epic historical movies Jodhaa Akbar is pretty good to (cinematography is great).

A movie I saw recently was Bhaag Milkha Bhaag - a fictionalized story of the Flying Sikh. Loved the movie (in my top 5 this year), and it's really a great sports flick - but it has 2 songs in it... and they drag you out of the story a bit. If these were cut, I'd suspect it would play pretty well to a non Indian audience.

But, overall, I've learned to accept the music in Bollywood movies... funny thing is, I LOATHE Hollywood musicals... (only a handful are to my taste and I hate all this Jazz hands/Glee rubbish that's so popular now) go figure!
