Just messin. Though I thought the Plat came too early in the game IMO.

There is a lot of side active scenarios that can be played out with NPC's & rare items & different gem weapons that can be grinded out in the Dungeons.

I like to replay this game in different variations in story & work on dungeons I have not done. (Think I got 3 left)

doing the Isz one now, since I've heard Level 5 has some nice drops or decent blood farming. But the bloodsucker dude was easy. It does get harder

I tried 1/4 sinister chalices online with arcane haze. (Did them all offline first) Be careful not to kill the bell ringer that is searching for online players.

They don't have everything but they are good because the drops cannot be randomized. (Unless you already own the item)

Creating a Dungeon on your own randomizes not just the loot, but the bosses too.

I just beat Gerrman on NG++

He was easy but WetNurse & Mergo gave me trouble.

I hate Mergo because he is easy to damage yet he has a 1 hit insta death move.

I hate Wet Nurse because she spawns 2 more & they do not go away unless you do a great deal of damage while the helpers are attacking.

Skipped Amygdala & the 2 bosses in upper cathedral. Also killed every single NPC (except doll) & any encounter with supposed friendlies.

A Reddit user has done what I had been thiking about doing but never had the time or the courage to: Collecting all the analysis out there, collating it, parsing through with the guide knowledge and in game knowledge to weed out the stuff that doesn't hold up, and gather everything in a synthesis of Lore for Bloodborne (which we were all hoping would end up in the guide itself in an "official" way).

Here it is, 90 pages long.

Seriously that is huge dedication/commitment to 1 game.

I may save the link if the 544 page guide bores me.

I am kinda glad they didn't go nut with the trophies; some games are just over the top with it

I admit I did that

There are a few bosses that can be a made a lot easier with "cheese" (or knowing their weaknesses):

- Bloodletting beast & poisoned daggers/ Kite
- Gascoigne & music box stun
- 3 hunters pull back in Unseen Village
- Using bolt dmg with Rom & his kin spiders
- Making the Gatling Gun Hunter fall to his death in Old Yharnam
- ...

And of course the classic getting an oversized mob stuck in geometry (works wonders with the Death Dealers in the Unseen Village, and I'm a big fan on getting the spider pigs stuck in the metal fences on my echoes/ blood pots run in Middle Mergo)

When I knocked Djura the gattling gun hunter off the tower, his badge for me to pick up was floating in mid-air. I had to go back t HUnter's Dream and return to the tower, the badge was next to the gun.

I had a good fight with the blood Starved Beast and had him down to a sliver bit got cornered and killed. Later on I found out I could summon Alfred for help. I think I'll do that today.

I agree,

for example The Keeper of the Old Lords in the defiled dungeon (actually all the defiled dungeon bosses) required you to be cheap with them

I beat TKotOL by using the Hunter's Axe 1 handed and just do charged attacks whenever she gets close, it was hilarious

I've been doing the Chalice dungeons to level up a bit, as I felt like I was hitting the NG + bosses with nerf weapons, and stumbled upon an old friend.

I hated Rom the first time I met her, I hate her even more the second.

I've seen that happen to regular enemies & actually myself after equipping the Chikage.

Either Crow or that Ninja are fun battles. Que Star Wars music. The ninja is much harder semi-boss.

I'm scared of enemies now that I entered NG+++

So I started exploring a bit, opened up Hemwick Charnal Lane and got as far as just before the Boss there and as far as just before the boss in Cathedral Ward. i took a right off that door and got double teamed by two hunters. I was only expecting one.
