Red Dead Redemption 2

Need to jump back into the game now that i've done a fair bit of my Fortnite challenges and earned the limited time rewards. I feel that the world they build really makes it so you do want to explore it, but at the same time, trying to get around from one mission area to another csn be tedious even with the "auto travel" i found. Also, disappointing to hear about the photos limited memory considering the game takes up 105gb

I've actually taken some really morbid photos to showcase how ludicrous this game can truly be sometimes.

Is there a way to reference what animals you need to craft outfits or satchels when your not at the trapper or at camp? My memory isn't good enough when I'm out hunting to know what I need. Like in assassin's creed black flag you could go to outfits in the menu and see what you needed

Played poker when a storm was brewing at camp near the lake with John and a few others. The wind blowing and the sky's colors were beautiful. I love this game so much, I'm only in chapter 3. My Arthur's beard and hair are finally unruly with some hair tonics. I want to roleplay living in wilderness/woods, living off the land solo as a hermit and hunting/fishing only but the story is too good.

Trying to run as a good guy, but I am already running out of money. I've gone through 6 gold bars already. I was well past the point of the unlimited gold bars glitch. Didn't really want to do the glitch anyways, but now I feel like I'd like to. Anyone know if it can be done on any gold bar?

Thanks. The dead eye technique is more complicated than it should be compared to just pressing a button rather than slowly pressing down on the trigger button to build the meter. But I'll have to get used to it and try it more often, as I just do real time firing in the game instead.

34% completed with the story, chapter 3 and still haven't unlocked land 2 to the southwest so I can revisit the old game landmarks. I didn't think they would lock off the other half of the map, but they did. If I step into the territory, instantly Arthur is shot at.

Trying to max honor before I do whatever I want. I'm always broke and pour most of my money into the camp. It honestly adds to immersion as Arthur should be a broke ass.

You probably know this already, but have you tried paying your bounty off? If it wasn’t for that ability I think I may have quit out of frustration. 😀

In Black Water they are wanted dead or alive it won’t unlock until the game is finished.

quick contribution,

you can add more deadeye to your 'bank' by doing chores around the horseshoe campsite. you will see this once you upgrade your camp, you will see small almost grey like circles around the homestead...

- at the campfire close to the entryway, where you hitch your horse you can
1. bring haystacks to two different locations - this gives you +5 each = 10
2. bring 2 sacks of rice (im asian ) to pearson again another 5 each = 10
3. refresh water at pearsons = 5 only, bringing a bucket of water to the washstation.

- close to pearsons station, you can cut wood, rendering 5 deadeye points again.

all these chores gives you some street cred, gaining honor for the camp.

another quick thing,

when you have your pistol out, you can double tap L1 instead of one click, and it 'spins' your gun old school.

I do all that and I’ve upgraded the whole camp and the women in charge of the camp had the guts to say to me she notices that I hadn’t put any money in the box yet when I look at the book I’ve put more money into the place then anyone there and I do all the chores. I wanted to shot her for that.

Thanks. With the bounties, they're all paid off and I agree, that definitely helps. But for the main story, the game actually prevents the player from entering the town city of Blackwater and the entire desert landscape until later in the game when it's unlocked. Otherwise, if you try to enter by stepping a few feet into the land (lower left side of the map and part of the original game), then a big group of enemies appear on horseback and shoot Arthur till he's a goner. There unfortunately is no bounty for this, as it's part of the storyline, preventing survival in that land until the game allows it through missions.

Which kind of stinks for exploration. In GTAV, the whole game was open from the start.

But I'm slowly progressing and hope the map will be survivable by the end of chapter 3. If not, that stinks.

I like how they explain why John can’t swim in the first game cause he doesn’t know how to swim. The first game made John seem like he was smart in this game he’s an idiot and honestly there’s been times I wanted to shot him.’

Are these permanent Dead Eye stat upgrades?

I’m on chapter 3 currently. If these are temporary effects, I’ll pass on chores.

I believe it can be done on others but isn't as effective to do. YouTube should have a few money glitch guides that are mostly on that one but others that have different locations too.

Permanent so very good incentive to get em all done considering they take minutes and offer the thing for each chore. In chapter 3, my camp seems to have them available everytime i seem to return.

Upgrading your satchel

You can buy the upgraded satchels for cash from a fence after the epilogue

Otherwise you need to obtain the required animal skins.

Personally, I only upgraded one satchel during the the main story and it was fine.

Maxed out satchel allows you to carry 99 of each item
