I cancelled my Disney + subscription after the 7 day trial. I have all the Star Wars I need on physical media, and I refuse to subscribe to 7-9 streaming services. I think the current streaming wars are going to bust, with the studios ending up licensing their content to Amazon, Apple, and Netflix again.

More likely that people won't have continuous subs for every service but have a few they'll always keep and the rest will be for a month every once in a while. Let some content build up, subscribe for the month, cancel, repeat.

They'll be the video stores of the 2000's.

Amazon is not offering the annual plan??...only 6.99 monthly plan. Anyway they refunded the 6.99 they charged me and I am getting either another 7 days or this month free from them as after an hour on the phone they finally realized Amazon customers must go elsewhere for an annual plan discount. How crazy is that

Once my account stops working I guess I will try Disney directly or through LG APP.

I happen to be talking to Comcast/Xfinity today about tweaking my plan.

Because I was adding a new promotion to replace my old one...

They were required to inform that they now have 1TB /month data cap.

1TB doesn't seem like alot for a whole month, but I haven't gone over yet.

I was completely unaware that they added this in recent years (end of Net Neutrality?).

Apparently, they send you a letter if you go over and charge you $10 per extra 50GB.

Makes me wonder about how much streaming I want to embrace going forward...

oh i'm so scared that i shouldn't had called and complain to Disney plus yesterday onto why i was going to be charge today due to trial verson ended 6.99 thing since i was already charge for a penny sat night in bundle

he said i should be charge once and he remove it and only being charge for bundle, however i got a bad feeling that something is very wrong and i had cancel Disney plus account and will not be able to used it after today should had left 6.99 in billing

yes yes i know i should had remove the 6.99 trial version sat night then add the Disney plus espn hulu bundle afterwards and i didn't now i'm in a pickle so to speak

You're not the only one. I switched to the bundle on Saturday night and was charged an additional 6.99 today. Thing was that we switched the billing to a different card yet they charged the original one we used.

I'm currently waiting for a chat agent, but I think I might be dead before I get to chat with anyone.

What I wish would happen is one streaming service to be created. With all content from all providers at one source. I would be willing to pay a higher price for more content, but with only one service. Why can't this happen?

I swear the chat is worst then the phone I try to call them this morning for 1 hour listening to their music and hung up going to get ahold of them by end of the night

my situation is that last night I got a customer care to take off the 6.99<-before I was going to get charge today on same card

I was already charge for a penny sat night on bundle btw

so i'm only being charge just for Disney plus bundle pay again on 16th next month and i got email saying from 6.99 subscription cancel tomorrow which guy said will get one

but my concern is to why when i check my junkmail i got email from espn saying Disney plus cancel per request? you can access your account end of billing cycle if you got further questions please do not hesistate to this email espn customer service and this was right after the guy cancel 6.99 on same visa card

basically i'm in panic mode thinking well was it a good idea to remove 6.99 or not am i'm still subscriber Disney plus after that come tomorrow since its only showing bundle 1 card already been paid for

the email espn plus was from the 6.99 monthly plan a glitch i don't know

my bill still showing Disney plus hula bundle card payment a penny next bill dec 16 services hulu espn plus

It's kinda what Amazon and Apple are trying to do with their "channels". You can add services such as HBO or CBS All Access as a channel, and their content becomes available under Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV.

Unforunately some providers including Netflix, Hulu, and now Disney+ don't participate. At least the Apple TV app is aware of their content though, can manage it in the watch list, and on Apple devices can automatically launch the respective app to watch a video.

An hour and thirty nine minutes from first ring to hang up. This was interesting. Even though I swapped out emails and billing to match my hulu info before upgrading their system still managed to link up and charge the old account. They had to manually go in and cancel the recurring billing (I couldn't because the system wouldn't recognize that email since I changed it myself) and then put in for a refund which I should see in 5-10 days. I'm still at a loss as to how they were able to charge a debit card that was changed prior to the bundle upgrade. And I would've kept getting charged because I had no way to get in anymore to cancel it myself.

I mean one huge streaming conglomerate. You would not have to add anything, it would just be there for a monthly price.

Monopolies are illegal in the USA and what you are trying to create would be a monopoly.

The reason why we got Disney+ for $7 a month is due to the basis of the USA's business model: competition.

It blows my mind that we're in 2019 and Hulu and/or Disney cannot simply add an option to their respective sites to link the two services and bundle them. This should take a few clicks at most, not hours waiting on the phone or for their broken chat.

Sounds like you want to go back to the huge cable packages of yore. Personally I'm glad that I can turn on and off individual subscriptions at any time with a click of a button. But having them all aggregated in a single app would certainly be useful.

Not if you're already subscribed to either/both. That is what I'm referring to.

Do you really think everyone in this thread is having problems because we all just magically missed the easy "solution" you posted? Come on, now...

I think this is a classic example of the salmon trying to swim upstream. If you’re already subscribed to one or the other the price is magically adjusted on your bill. Pretty easy solution, no?
