That was recently in a new update for the 80 GB. The 60 GB like I own has been doing that all along.

Actually, better support for PS2 games that can be installed to a PS2 hard disc was also added.

No, not lofty at all... as it's already been stated, Profile 2.0 is ready now, and since Sony is being tight lipped about the whole DTS-MA thing, who knows when we will get it. But at the least we should get 2.0 regardless of what other players have it, don't have it, or will have it in the future.

I was playing a game of CTF in Warhawk last night and it locked up tight. First time I've ever had a lockup since 12/06. Hopefully they get the next update out soon.
Same here. It's happening so often that it's alomst unplayable, and I never had this problem before. This sux. What's worse is you have to install the update or you can't log in to PSN.

Wanted to let you guys know of one improvement I've seen since installing 2.17. After 2.10 I wasn't able to get online with fight night round 3. That has now been resolved. FYI if you have been having the same problem.

Seems like a waste of an update. At least add something substantial! Or just call it 2.11

I'd imagine they can make urgent fixes to the last major SS version without severely affecting the schedule for the next major release.

If they tried to roll out a load more already completed features with an urgent fix it's going to take longer to test and they can't fix the problem quickly.

I updated yesterday, not knowing about these issues, watched Independance Day (dts core track), Dan in Real Life, and August Rush, and had no problems at all.
