I was enjoying the finale. Another crazy game but they pulled it out. 12-0.

And... the inevitable. Looks like a 7 year, $35 million deal.

Scott Frost to leave UCF for head coaching job at Nebraska

Scott Frost is coming home.

Frost, a former quarterback who led the Nebraska Cornhuskers to a share of the 1997 national championship, will be named the school's next head coach, according to multiple reports and confirmed by ESPN on Saturday.

The 42-year-old Frost has led UCF to a 12-0 season after the Knights beat the Memphis Tigers 62-55 in double overtime to win the American Athletic Conference championship game Saturday.

When asked about the reports right after the win, an emotional Frost told ESPN's Todd McShay, "I want to go celebrate with my team."

With the win, UCF clinched a berth in a New Year's Six bowl game.

Frost, who will reportedly be introduced as the program's 33rd head coach Sunday in Lincoln, will replace Mike Riley, who went 4-8 for the Cornhuskers this season -- his third at Nebraska.

Frost's agreement with Nebraska was first reported Saturday by Brett McMurphy on Twitter.

Love these kind of games. Nothing beats a College Football shootout like this. Instant classic.

Happy for Frost. Love his loyalty for Nebraska. He’s very admirable.

I'm sure people are going crazy in Atlanta. I'd still put money on Oklahoma bouncing them in the first game.

Didn't expect Georgia to crush Auburn like that. That result doesn't help Alabama. Regardless, due to Oklahoma winning I think Ohio St. is going to have to blowout Wisconsin big time to have much chance of jumping Alabama for the 4th playoff spot. The other three spots seems like locks for Georgia, Oklahoma and the Miami-Clemson winner.

Another exciting game from UCF today. ChadFL, I bet you were going crazy again this week!

Now let's go Clemson! The winner of this ACC Championship is who I think will win the National Championship.

I doubt you're getting in if it's a 30-24 type victory. You'll probably need to win by at least 2 or 3 touchdowns minimum to leap Alabama. Looks like they may get that blowout anyhow.

Congrats to Clemson for getting in 3 straight years.

B1G champion and much better resume than Alabama.

Bama is probably done. They needed Auburn to win today. Now they are the 3rd best team in their conference? Losing to Auburn doesn't help their resume.

Two losses is greater than one loss. And those two losses were hardly competitive. Buckeyes lost by 15 and 31, the latter blowout to a garbage 7-5 team. Not sure the committee will buy Ohio St. over Alabama, conference title or not.

No way Alabama is one of the 4 best teams this year. They haven’t played anybody.

If Alabama and Ohio St. met in a neutral site game Alabama would be favored to win. They are a more talented team. I get wanting your team in the playoff but they're just not very good this year. They might sneak into the playoff but if they do it'll probably just be a repeat of their Oklahoma disaster earlier in the season or a repeat of their 31-0 disaster against Clemson.

Sure we have one more loss than they do but one was to a Top 4 team. The other is plainly outrageous by us. But still, we defeated Penn State, Michigan State, and if they win tonight #4 undefeated Wisconsin. Like I said, win and we’re in.

Or you know like 2 years ago where we were underdogs to Bama and we beat them fair and square. Last year looked bad but I did agree OSU belonged but we were there a year earlier than expected being that young of a team.

Wisconsin is killing my dreams of no Bama or OSU in the playoffs. Based on last year’s rules, a 1-loss team (Alabama) should get in ahead of a 2-loss Big Ten champion. Of course, the committee changes the rules based on who they favor. Will be interesting to see what they do with their two darlings.

It's amazing that people don't understand WHY OSU made it last year. They had 3 top 10 victories(Wisky, Oklahoma, and Michigan) including 1 against a conference champion (Oklahoma). Bama this year has none. That's why OSU got in last year.
