This may or may not have been covered in this thread, I see Target has 2 covers for this movie, one with Bane, and one with Batman. Normally I wouldn't double-dip however that Bane cover is badass, for pre-ordering how do you specify which one you want?

anyone who is interested in the Target exclusive Batman cover should wait...no point ordering the Bane cover now and hoping Target won't give you any grief if wanting to switch covers later...it's not like Target is going to run out of copies...wait till mid/late November and then pre-order...what's the point in pre-ordering early?...does Target have a pre-order price guarantee like Amazon?

Probably handle it in the same fashion they did with many ET SB orders....cancel it!

A page or two back, I posted that I'm a digibook guy and planned to get it over the SteelBook with the bonus disc. But I just found the Target link for the digibook and read the description for the book's content:
Quote:
I outgrew comic book adaptations right after the Burton Batman days. I hope to see preview photos of the book open when beauty shots arrive closer to release date. If that ends up being the case, I may take back what I said and go for the SB with bonus disc instead. |

Do you guys know if the Prologue (which was shown in IMAX theaters back in December) will be included in the disk?
All I read in the special features was (The Prologue: High Altitude Hijacking), which I am assuming is "The making of" or just a documentary I would love to hear the original voice of Bane and see the quick montage after the plane scene ends in HD. All I saw was a shaky and blurry cam version online. |

You're really asking the wrong question. It shouldn't be why the BD is so expensive (which it really isn't), but why the trilogy is so cheap. $30 for the trilogy is much cheaper than most would expect it to cost I imagine, so as a result, it does make the standalone for Rises look worse. The price for Rises will no doubt drop by release date though. Expect it to be around $19.99. The Trilogy will likely stay at $30.

What is the usual price range for some previously released Warner Ultimate Collector's Edition?
I just want the Trilogy on blu ray, so I'm eyeing the ~$30 trilogy set, but I would like extras, just not for ~$100 or some overpriced amount. I've also read that Begins didn't transfer too well onto blu ray, should I wait around 5 more years until it gets a better transfer or did I misread? |
