so when you select GP from hbodigitalhd.com, it takes you to Google Play store and asks you to confirm if you want to redeem it or not. if you just close that page without confirming, it won't redeem your GP code.

So i did that and it says add to library instead of confirm. i exited without clicking that. So im guessing confirm = add to library? I tried it again to make sure it didnt redeem and it said add to library again after it took me to googleplay. so im guessing this is the way to check? What would it say if it wasnt valid? instead of add to library would it say already redeemed or something?

-thanks

So quick FYI to any homeowners or condo owners. In IL local electrically company, ComEd, is running go green with your lighting and major appliances program this summer and fall I think till end of year. Supposedly there are similar programs being run all across country, but you have to just check with your electrical provider to see if they are. You can see my details of what I had done below:

[Show spoiler]Short version of what they did was: swap out literally every bulb in my house to LED bulbs most were free, but a few of them I had to pay 3-5$ per bulb (vs the $14 they cost a home depot/lowes) I ended up paying the guy $33 for entire house for the few I wanted the other bulbs for.

He also gave us a bunch of surge protectors for free that are kind of neat, designed for your PC and others for TV. Basically they work by setting one main device on a control switch and everything else you would need on a switch set of power. So like for my PC my CPU tower was control but monitor and speakers were on the switch. So when I shutdown my PC the power to the speakers and screen would just shut off so there is no vampire drain and when I boot up power to those turns on.

He also convinced us to swap out our thermostats for Nest's because of the eco settings and because we got $100 off per each unit. Again lower cost of heating cooling especially when not home.

Now all of this hypothetically is supposed to reduce your energy use, the guy claims many houses saw a 20-25% reduction in energy costs, so good for your wallet and good for environment.

Regardless just doing the lights was worth it to me because LED bulbs are supposed to last 15-20 years, so that means 15-20 years of not having to change out the bulbs But I did get stuck with all the old bulbs still trying to figure out what to do with those.

So I would just check like I said for us for the most part it was free. Our guy said the program is supposed to run at least until end of year or until the funds for program runs out in your area

This is a guess, but those sales usually seem to be $14.99 HDX, with 1 or 2 at $12.99

Not till next week. And even then they probably won't look like they're on sale. 14.99-12.99 is probably the sales.

My media budget and home budget are separate sadly all that money is going straight into my kitchen and basement remodel. So basically I just got one cabinet paid for

And my media budget seems to be pretty much set aside for video games this fall. They have always been the more expensive but also engaging form of entertainment for me.

Disney is generally $5 off current price when it goes on sale, so $14.99 for the $19.99 titles and $12.99 for the $17.99 titles.
