How do you accidentally own it?

People buy me things, I inherit DVDs/Blu's that people offload, etc.

T3 has some nice action and comedy moments in it, it's fun in a comic book spin-off kinda way but ultimately could never match up with T1 and 2 and watching it after those movies will only end the series with a crappy taste in the mouth.

ID4 did have one of the great teaser trailers of all-time though. Might not seem like much today but 25 years ago was quite the jaw dropper. One of the coolest effects was probably the cheapest. Just seeing that big shadow stretching out over everything and all the people looking up in astonishment. Too bad the movie itself didn't measure up.

The teaser was excellent; I was reminded of a big budget version of V. Decent movie for about 30 minutes or so...

John Woo's Paycheck is underrated. While not up to Blade Runner or Minority Report it does capture a lot of the feeling of Dick's stories, with a very action fueled romp. And there's some really great stunt work going on too. That motorcycle chase is tits.

I’m a big fan of the three big solo Hulk live action productions. Was a fan of the live action show as a kid,
[Show spoiler]keep almost picking up the Blu, but also hoping a US release appears
, saw the Ang Lee version in theaters as a teen and loved it. Watched it as an adult and still really like it. Like that Ang Lee approached it as a Frankenstein like story. With the mad scientist/father trying to deal with his creation/son and the issue of anger through generations. I also like the Edward Norton one. Fan since childhood of Norton’s probably helps. It’s more action oriented. But I like the dealing with his anger and trying to become better for love. I really like Tim Roth, another favorite from childhood.

I like Ruffalo but isn’t given the most to do.

Same, I love it and also think it's better than the games.

BTW, anyone else seen the Morton/Jankel cut that was released a few weeks ago? It is an improvement on the theatrical cut IMO.

Well, it's a watery macro Euro lager (if you mean their most known lager), so it's not really something of a sensation. Not a fan either, it's the kind of beer you take when you are stuck with it and there is absolutely nothing else exciting.

Resident Evil movies(all of em) are a blast of B-movie fun, dumb as hell but entertaining on a chill day nonetheless and Mila is always reliable as an action hero. Not much like the games as many would say, but I can't help but shrug and not give a rat crap about that overly stated factoid.

THE DEVILS is Ken Russell's and Oliver Reed's greatest film. It desperately needs a full 4k restoration and uncut 4k UHD release. Maybe Severin can do it.

Russell's ***** is also due for similar treatment. It is a fine comedy.

[EDIT: Wow, I can not even use the name of that film, the site censors it!!

So I guess I have to say, the UNCUT version of
"If You Can't Say It... Just See It" (1991), starring Theresa Russell.

I am glad to see this site is controlled by serious film-loving adults.]

Steve Carrell has limited range and he's overrated. He's OK though.

I saw that movie not too long ago, and while it wasn't bad (it actioned very well), I didn't think it was all that great. I could mention a hypothesis as to why, but that would actually spoil the twist of the movie (which I want to put on record that I saw it coming from several miles away).

I'm sure it's the same story as with Super Mario Bros: The Movie. People are pissy because it's not Resident Evil as it's portrayed in the games. Read the 1-star reviews of SMB on IMDb, and you can see what people were expecting. I myself knew that the movie was universally panned, so I braced myself for a veritable shitstorm. Turns out (as I alluded to earlier) the movie itself is actually pretty decent; it's just not Mario in the traditional sense.

What a lot of people seem to misunderstand is that Mario himself isn't actually a character: he's a template for Miyamoto's stories so he didn't have to invent a brand new character every idea he got, they put a recognizable face on the story so people could relate to it. Mario himself has zero continuity.

Yeah, it's not a great film and not up to the standards of Woo or Dick's best, but it's a fun little sci-fi romp with some great stunt work. I'm not even sure there is a twist since it's pretty obvious what is going to happen. There was probably a good bit of studio interference. It feels that way anyway. I would have appreciated a somewhat more ambiguous conclusion like Total Recall.

It didn't measure up? ID4 is a great fun film. We don't get movies like that any more, Sadly.

Lukas Moodysson's first film "****ing Åmål" (1998) AKA "Show Me Love" is one of the best teen romances around.

[Yup, just what I thought. Not my asterisks. Apparently this site is for preteens in the 1950's. I just wish I had adults willing to protect me from such terrible language when I was a child. I am sure that the trauma of early exposure is wholly responsible for turning me into the vulgar, obnoxious person I am today. It's not my fault!]

This may have been a test, but I meant what I said and I said what I meant.
