I received Atheon's Epilogue and Found Verdict last night in a normal VoG.
Are they any good after upgrading them?

I'm not a big auto rifle fan, but the Void damage has me interested.

I don't have a Swordbreaker yet, but my Dry Rot 32 with Void damage has been a beast for me in the meantime. So I'm not sure about Found Verdict?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I can't remember the last time I used Atheon's Epilogue, so I don't have a fair assessment of that gun. But Found Verdict is a very good shotgun. Swordbreaker is probably my favorite shotgun.

Atheon's epilogue sucks. Even in the vault it's not that good.

I only ever use it I oracles, no other enemies.

Found Verdict is a go to PVE shotgun for me. I use it in trials for Fallen enemies since it's arc.

Dry Rot is probably the best PVE shotgun at the moment, especially with the right rolls.. So awesome. Big damage, super fast reload.

Atheon's Epilogue is like Hard Light. It's a fun gun to spray bullets with but it needs a bump in DMG to actually be useful. I have tried to use it in the crucible a few times for the Thorn bounty and can't kill anyone with it but myself.

I need to check it out. I received two of them a few days ago while I was running the level 28 strikes and haven't even fired one of them yet.

Dry Rot is my favorite for PvE, Her Courtesy isn't too bad either. Party Crasher +1 is my go to for PvE with the Matador 64 in second.

I have an old Two to the Morgue which was huge for me in the Thorn bounty a while ago. I don't use it anymore, but might give it another shot.

Found Verdict is awesome for Fallen Captains (as Fuz alluded to earlier) and Swordbreaker destroys Vex Minotaurs and Praetorians.

It's all in your roll and play style.

AE is not good at all.

I have Swordbreaker and Found Verdict ascended to 365 and both destroy. You can't go wrong with either. I'm going to ascend one more of each after running the 34s this week on Tuesday after the reset.

I even use it on Cabals. Found Verdict Arc doesn't discriminate against Solar shields lol

You must have missed the AE days then. That gun was beastly back in the early VOG days. Everyone wanted it. I ascended a AE to 365 and still fun to use.

Yeah, I remember being jealous of everyone that had it. Always glad to have someone on my fireteam that had one for a void burn Nightfall. It was the only void primary in the game.

Definitely a fun gun, but I can't bring myself to ascend any of my legendary auto rifles yet.

I didn't start playing Destiny until mid-February, I believe. I was not present during the early days. I have one now and don't find it to be good at all. I'm glad you enjoy yours.

Using the stats from DB.DestinyPlanet.com I made a spreadsheet for the shotguns I have that show their ratings. A little nerdy but it shows the differences pretty good. And the Min/Max is all depending on which perks you roll.

Felwinter's Lie, Party Crasher +1 and Matador 64 are all pretty close overall in my opinion.
