Received copy of My Bloody Valentine from decluttr today. Bought used like new for $7. Came in original heat shrink with a $34.97 price tag from Best Buy. Just a heads up. I have bought about 20 from them as used and about half have been new in original heat shrink a great deal and no I don’t get a commission.

Finally got around to snagging Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D Blu-ray used off Amazon for around $13. Hopefully the 3D is as good as I have read it is!

Watched The Mummy. I actually thought it was ok. Not in my top ten, but not in my bottom ten either. The comedy didn’t work, but the sfx and 3D did. So is Tom now a superhero mummy?

Released four years ago this month, I think Warcraft, produced by Universal, renders its 3D as beautifully as the later Disney-Marvel productions.

Found 1D: This is Us 3D (don't judge me, I don't mind their pop songs and it's 3D).

Found two sealed copies of Island of Lemurs: Madagascar in a thrift shop. Was going to get it anyway but say the sticker saying "Bonus 3D version" so even better.

For a really great time - watch Richard Lester’s THE THREE MUSKETEERS and THE FOUR MUSKETEERS.
Absolutely brilliant movies. A great time at the movies.

A little too graphic for my taste, but the 3D ( full screen ) was worth the watch. I like The Shining a lot better.

Why mention The Shining? Seems an odd comparison. It's also not in 3D!

I've watched a dozen of 3D blu-rays in the last months. Lot's of great moments, but one was above the others:

Silent Hill: Revelation (2015) was a decent sequel, but the native 3D was purely fun! FUN! Lot's of great pop outs, beautiful depth and the image composition was really great. Oh, it was so great I wanted to watch it again immediately as the 3D was just so over the top and nicely done!

Highly recommended as a "demo disc"!

Blimey, you mustn’t have seen many horror films if you think MBV is graphic.

Terrible as a movie but the visuals are on point, stunning to look at with amazing 3D.

Trolls: World Tour. Wow, they did a great job of this one, looked fantastic on my ZD9 without even a hint of ghosting. This is how you master a 3D disc!
