Unforgiven 4K UHD (1992)

Thought the image on this one looked pretty weak for the 4K UHD and the included blu-ray. Wasn't very "filmic" to my eyes. Hopefully Warners does a better job with the upcoming Clint titles they are putting out.

There should be no need. More recent firmware updates have fixed the ABSL bug that caused it to kick in when not needed. The C3 may have shipped with the fix, not sure. But if not just upgrade your firmware to get the fix.

Unforgiven UHD has a very filmic image on a good 4K TV. Excellent disc. Would be happy if the upcoming Clint titles are of the same standard.

I’d agree. It’s serviceable, but not impressive.

Sounds like tone mapping and possibly calibration issues.
