Last night we watched meet the robinsons and the 3d looked great. Going back through some of these earlier released 3d movies still hold up well.

THE LEGO MOVIE: PART 2 3.5/5

I remember me and my buddy going to the theatre to watch this. I thought it so-so then but it’s much better the 2nd time around. Also we had a couple of bong hits of a strain called LSD and boy them colours looked pretty. Some jokes I missed the first time I caught this time, including a 3rd Bruce Willis moment. Also found the 3D was so much better at home then it was in theatres. Plus the audio wasn’t too bad either, with the subwoofer getting a nice workout throughout. Just wish the 3D disc got the same Atmos treatment that all the other release options got. We use to Atmos on the 3D all the and then they decided to **** us in that department. At least the Neural X added some nice overhead sound to the presentation. So a good movie but even better high

I just watched Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and really enjoyed it. Bursting with pop-outs and depth was okay. I thought it was funny that they took it seriously (not accurately) in the historical sense but...vampires!!

Love Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, great fun in 3D and i think the movie is really entertaining. It's very satisfying as an action movie and as a horror movie.

And a fantasy historical movie. The even included the underground railroad idea a bit. Plus Mary Elizabeth Winstead. During the train sequence there was stuff, with the help of sparks and floating embers, in front of the screen constantly. Very entertaining.

I don't know how Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter does it, but it pulls off its hybrid of genres very well. It's a fun movie.

Watched Beowulf. Excellent movie and 3D. Why can’t they all be this good.

Released in 2014, It's so odd to me that the 2007 classic Beowulf 3D never had a release for the U.S.
Feel very lucky that the French release didn't have region coding! At that time I only had region A components..

Rewatched Dr. Strange. My favorite Marvel movie with exceptional 3D. I can’t imagine watching in 2D. The 3D made the movie work!

Rewatched Pacific Rim and The Jungle Book, both visually spectacular 3D experiences. I love 3D even more when it fills the screen like these do.

Default Mad Max Fury Road

Just watched Mad Max. The 3D is terrific with pop-outs galore, great depth, and a lot of cool photography besides.

Watched The Maze. The restoration and 3D were good. The movie was OK, but with a lot of overacting, normal for the time. Quite suspenseful, but the guy in the frog suit was so funny it kind of wrecked it.

Rewatched T2 and Terminator Genesis. T2 a better movie, but Genesis is good, although time travel is confusing, and it has really great 3D.

I saw this movie once 2D and didn’t like it, so never finished it. This time I got the 3D version hopefully I will like it more this time.
