I'm guessing UCF finishes #8 in the final AP poll. Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ohio St., Wisconsin will obviously remain ahead of them. As will Penn St. most likely. They will almost certainly leapfrog Auburn and USC. Not bad. UCF's previous high was #10 in the final 2013 AP poll.

It's amazing to me that with all the success they've had over the last ten years, Alabama hasn't been able to find a great quarterback.

AJ Mccarron was pretty good, but not great. Is Nick Saban just incompetent when it comes to evaluating, recruiting and developing quarterbacks?

Imagine if Alabama had Baker Mayfield, Jamis Winston or Marcus Mariota.

...they'd be unbeatable.

Well maybe. Everyone has their flaws.

Jameis, Marcus, and Baker didn't have much of a defense behind them when they really needed it either.

Also Bama's defense hasn't been lighting it up in these playoff runs when they really needed it. Doesn't matter who the QB is when you give up 42, 40 and 35.
