Would a week be too long to see family and go through a unit to get rid of stuff and sell at HFPB or a game store or something? I don't really want to rush things since my aunties are old and I want to spend as much time with them as possible.

Like Bizcat, no one is knocking down my doors with the jobs I’ve applied for. My territory lead ask that anyone wanting to work on the week or July 4th email him separately in our weekly notes. I’m not sure how I feel about this one, given we would have had that week off had our contract continued and the company pulling the plug with little regard for its employees. Not to mention the teams ending and the piss poor communication regarding that. I feel very used and unappreciated at this point.

I was at a good Bro of mine's place for bbq yesterday. He's done chemo and is looking well. It was the first time having drinks together in many months. I am very happy that he is gonna be okay.

I almost have the same benefits, and I actually love what I do. It does get very stressful and quite overwhelming at times, but when the day is over, there's a satisfaction to the work we do. I've been offered admin positions in the same place, with higher pay, and I've turned them down or passed them up. I can't see myself as a paper pusher and phone person.

Had this little critter fall on my patio table. He landed upside down. Lol. Not the most graceful bug. Worked his thorax off trying to right himself. But he made it. Anyone know what kind of beetle this is?

Looks like a crop bug. We have some of those in my area, they have a darker butt though.

My fiancee wants to road trip out to California for our honeymoon. No lie it sounds like a good idea but technically neither of us are really in a secure position financially to take a month or two off work. She still has around $60k in student loans and we've been looking for a house although quite frankly I'm not sure why since we both agree we don't want to settle down in this area.

I'm running two horror blogs now + associated social networks due to the founder's bout with cancer. One is mainly a copy & paste upcoming horror, sci-fi, fantasy movie site so no big deal. The other requires a little thought process as it covers news & promos, reviews, interviews, etc., + multi-author management. But anyway, having fun
