I'm going to try but I don't know how much time I'll have. Certainly not enough to get up a rank a half to get the armband for next time. I'm really kicking myself for not starting earlier in the week.

My lost items box is nearly full on all three of my characters from this and the last IB. I even got a Plan C and 4th Horseman drop over the weekend. I'm at the point now where I don't need any weapons (except POE and TOO elemental primaries, which I'll probably never get), so most of everything has been dismantled.

How much of a buff do you get? I think I need like 3400 points to get to rank 4 from where I'm at. There are about 600 or so worth of bounties and I was getting, I believe, like 88 points per win on Saturday? That's a ton of matches even if I win them all.

I had back-to-back matches where I led my team with a 4.0 k/d and then a 5.33 k/d and got nothing either time. It was pretty frustrating.

I think with the buff on Monday will get you 125 points per win.

But the buff also ups the points you get for the iron banner bounties. 250 I believe.

The buff costs one mote of light from lord salad shooter.

From the Wiki:

The following buffs (all of which will stack) which affect all methods of gaining reputation are:

A 10% boost for wearing an Iron Banner class item
A 10% boost for wearing an Iron Banner shader
A 10% boost for wearing an Iron Banner emblem
A 12 hour Tempered buff that is more effective later in the week (see chart below)
A 100% boost for any character who is at a lower rank than another character on the same account.

Tue - 10%
Wed - 15%
Thu - 25%
Fri - 40%
Sat - 60%
Sun - 100%
Mon - 150%

Yeah, I got a little over 600 rep turning in one of the, regularly, 100 rep bounties this morning on an alt with the shader, emblem, and buff. Iron Wrath should bring in 1200+ alone.

What time are you going to be on tonight? I didn't realize about the huge buffs. I might try to grind and get to level four this time so I can start the next one with the 30% bonus. I should be on around 7:15est.

I may do a couple matches this afternoon, but I can play with you around 8:30 - 9:00. If you are 2.5 now, you could easily hit 4.

Sounds good. Hopefully we can grab a few more for a fireteam. I never lost a match when I went in with others. It's so much easier when you can talk. Pairing up with five other randoms was not so great most matches.

Although I believe that Crota's End on Normal still has Level 32 bad guys, no? Being 27 there will just get you stomped, save a carry with 4-5 other guys.

I didnt even bother with L5 on Banner, just went L3 on all my 3 chars. Pretty easy with the last one, although good GOD I sucked at PvP in my Titan. How do you guys maneuver these big lumbering tanks?

I have awesome board-leading games with my primary hunter and with my Titan I'm wearing a bullseye that says "Im slow".

Sidebar, had a good time playing with my old crowd - Josh, Ric, Adam, JR, Josh's missus. Good times.

Just go to http://www.ironbanner.info/. You can login and input how many games you want to play , bounties turning in etc and it will tell you exactly how much you need to get to your desired rank. Great for planning the week!
