Wow, that is weird. I wonder if it was a design mistake that got missed in QA. Yeah, I'm probably reaching lol.

Looks like it was corrected on the A2M, which looks like is the replacement for the A-100.

I work in QA (not for Emotiva!) that's a big miss haha

Maybe they thought people would prefer to turn the amp around and make the back the front cause they didn't want to look at that volume knob right smack down in the middle of the front face.

Finally got the XSP-1 going. I wasn't really expecting much, but holy crap what a difference! The build quality on the unit is also exceptional. I tend to live by the theory that heavier is better when it comes to audio gear, and this thing doesn't disappoint.
