that happened at a couple early home games i went to in 2015 in tuscaloosa.

they had a few people pass out and had to be given fluids and taken to the hospital. they had them lying down in the breeze-way covered in bags of ice. i don't think i've ever been to a game that hot and humid before or since. it was just brutal that day.

Tennessee State linebacker is in critical condition after going down just before halftime with an unknown condition.

he was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and was placed in the ICU.

at the very least, suspended for the rest of the season or even kicked off the team.

it's clearly targeting/singling out another player then forcibly taking them to the ground and choking them. and that's absolutely assault. it's not allowed away from the field and should not be allowed on it, as well.

if i were the mother of the player who was targeted, i'd file assault charges against the other player.

This is absolutely criminal assault. It's not even like a late hit or anything, the kid was practically strangled and had hit head repeatedly bashed against the ground.
