We're told Fuller tore his ACL playing in a flag football game roughly 2 weeks ago and had surgery to repair the injury at the end of September.

Fuller went to physical therapy for the first time on Wednesday (10/3) as part of his recovery and completed a full session without issue.

When he arrived back to his home, we're told he "went to the ground" and asked for water -- clearly feeling something was wrong.

People close to C.J. called for an ambulance and he was rushed to a nearby hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

There are rumblings Fuller's death was a direct result of complications from the knee surgery -- but we're told that hasn't been determined yet.

I think it’s odd that UCF displays a National Championship title in their stadium that no one else really acknowledges. Do some UCF fans find this embarrassing?

Exactly. While it would've been great to see him terrorizing That Team Up North later this year, it's perfectly understandable. If it were me, I'd do the same thing. If he re-aggravates that injury, it costs him millions in guaranteed money.

Selfish move... be a part of the team and help them. He's still going to go to the NFL and get paid.

Agree to disagree. There's a big difference in guaranteed money between going top 3 (which Bosa is projected to) and falling to a lower round if he re-injures himself. Sorry, but even though I bleed scarlet and grey too, I don't have a problem with it.

Seems like every year there's a guy who's slated to go super-high, injures himself and damages his draft stock (Jaylon Smith and Myles Jack come to mind). Can't really blame a kid if he doesn't want to add his name to that list.
