Ohio St. plays zero teams currently ranked in the top-10 this year. The fact that their most difficult games this year are likely to be Wisconsin and Iowa it kinda speaks for itself.

Does anyone besides me think Boise State's QB is going to be a franchise QB in the NFL?

The consensus on Boise St. QB Kellen Moore seems to be that he's somewhere between the #4-8 ranked QB prospect in the 2011 class. That could change depending on who goes pro but it sounds like he's a 3rd or 4th round pick to me. I tend to agree with that.

I dunno, he looks like the complete package to me, would be awesome if we could snag him in the draft and groom him to replace Romo down the road.

He's very undersized and that is going to hold him back unfortunately. He's a hell of a leader though so you never know, he could surprise the scouts. But he won't be a high draft pick.

I think it's called bias.

Until a playoff system of some sort is instituted, I consider all BCS rankings and standings purely arbitrary. Being in the top 10 doesn't mean much except for those schools who are placed there currently by voters.

Did you enjoy it as much as I did. What a dumb ass Spurrier is. Who brings in a true freshman at the end of a close game on the road to replace your 2nd or 3rd best QB in school history.

Got a question for you college football fans, why do the games are so freakin long?

Yesterday I join the Texas-UCLA game at 6:28 pm with 4:39 left in the fourth quater. Those 4:39 minutes took exactly 30 full minutes to be done, the game ended at 6:58 pm. That is just crazy. This also not the first time I have notice ultra long games in the NCAA. Then Americans complaint they can't watch soccer cause it's too slow but they are ok for a game that takes 30 minutes to play less then 5 minutes of actual game?

Why are games this slow in college football? Is it the coaches fault? The way television show the game? Is it just an impression? I mean if I follow what was on scheduled, the Texas-UCLA game started at 3:30 pm, so 3 hours and half to play a football game? Wow!! I might be to use to the CFL with it's 2 hours and 30 or 45 minutes.

I don't get why Florida is so important they could go undefeated in the hands down best conference in college football and still not get to the NC game because all the top placed teams need to do is ride it out.

If somehow Florida knocks off Alabama next week, and then Florida drops a game along the way all hell will break loose. Doubtful that the Gators can win that game, but man would it make all those BCS big wigs start jumping out of windows.

Whichever one of you jerkfaces kidnapped the Bulldogs, please release them immediately!

It sucks being 1-3 (and 0-3 in the SEC), but I'm kinda curious to see what's going to happen with this trainwreck of a season. Can't use the "yeah but we lost to ranked teams!!!" argument anymore after losing to Mississippi State. LOL.

On another note, to the guy ragging on Florida's schedule -- I hate Florida with a passion. A deep, burning, palpable passion. But come on; Ohio State plays nobody outside the Big 10, and for the past several years every team beside it has been down. Yeah, maybe Penn State had a good year here and there; and Iowa is tough; and Wisconsin usually starts strong then finishes weak - but it's pretty much been Ohio State's conference.

Let's not forget Alabama's weak schedule, either: San Jose State; Duke; and Georgia State (in its inaugural season!)

Every team schedules cupcakes. Fortunately, this year, lots of teams get an extra cupcake by scheduling Georgia.

Wouldn't happen. If Florida runs the table, which they won't anyway, it would mean they'd probably have to beat Alabama twice. They'd be a lock for the BCS title game.

The nightmare scenario I could see happening is Boise St. ending up the only undefeated team in the nation at the end of the regular season. That would probably slip them into the national title game over far better teams and result in a 1-loss major conference team destroying Boise in the BCS title game.

The other forgotten thing is they lose to a trash Purdue team and an overrated USC team last year and somehow move up the rankings to #2 I've never seen a team lose games like they have and still manage to climb the rankings that way.

At least Florida's only loss last year came to the National Champions. (yet they fall in the rankings )

You haven't had an entire team playing together in I don't even know how long... Poor UGA

True, but they do it more because of their crazy SEC schedule. Just look at Alabama's SEC schedule this year.

@ #15 Arkansas
vs. #7 Florida
@ #19 South Carolina
vs. Ole Miss
@ Tennessee
@ #12 LSU
vs. Miss St.
vs. #10 Auburn

Then they have a SEC championship game after that.

Alabama also played #22 Penn St. non-conference. Counting the SEC title game that's SEVEN games against teams currently ranked in the top-25 nationally for Alabama.

Unbelievably two AP voters have Ohio St. #1 over Alabama. Guess they are more impressed with those big Ohio St. wins over Ohio U. and Eastern Michigan than Alabama winning @ Arkansas.

Florida hasn't played an out of conference game outside the state of Florida since 1991, when they lost to Syracuse. Typically Florida will play all their out of conference games at home one year, and then play 3 home and the Florida State game on the road the next year.

Georgia and Oregon mutually agreed today to cancel the home-and-home series in 2015 and 2016.

Sort of a bummer, I was liking Georgia's outside-the-box thinking with Oregon. I'm sure they'll schedule a like quality opponent, like Louisiana-Lafayette... :S
