Dakich is a college basketball analyst so it seems weird he'd be the one to break this story, but he's well-connected in Indiana from a long tenure as an Indiana assistant and now hosting a radio show in Indianapolis so he's not a complete nobody and the report could have some validity.

Everyone knew this would be the end result. Brohm would never turn down Louisville, but I didn’t think it would be this quick.

I personally think this will be a disaster. Miles is 65, has no ties to the Kansas area, and has always run a very old school power running offense. He won a lot of games at LSU but he was coaching for a major SEC school in a great recruiting area. Maybe he's learned that he needs to change with the times to a more modern spread offense, but I could easily see Kansas looking for another new coach in 3 years while they're still a bottom-feeder in the Big 12.

Tune up pre Thanksgiving game like many teams do. It was originally supposed to be a chance to play a lot of the 3rd stringers, but as often as not it turns out like this. It's been going on since they added the 12th game and before that it was frequently an off week before the rivalry game.

Usually the other team has some connection to the University (ex-coach/player or administrator or the AD is an alum) and it's a Money Game for both sides -- takes the place of the Homecoming Patsy game.

As much as anything a chance to show off a Recruiting Visit for some of the HS players. It's also used to give a bunch of donors access to the team and facilities to recruit money. Supposed to be a more low key week so the players have more time to glad-hand, but it typically turns out like this.
But typical for Alabama is they use it to read press clippings and party all week and sleepwalk through the game. Almost always ends up just like this -- a bunch of turnovers, penalties, and almost always 1-2 serious injuries. Another triple option team that seems to dominate the line of scrimmage every time. Gives Saban an excuse to go on a rampage the next week

SEC has done this type of scheduling for years the 2nd to last game of the regular season. It's odd to schedule a game like that in November but they do it every year. The conference won't get penalized for it so I don't blame them.

Apparently Ohio St. is a 3.5 point underdog against Michigan. That breaks their streak of being favored in 51 straight games. They hadn't been a home underdog since 2004.

They've had their troubles this year, but I have a hard time seeing them an underdog in a home game. I'll bet they pull this one out.

10-10 at the half and EL Cid was controlling the ball while running at that “great” SEC D. Didn’t cover either. Exposed Tua in the second half because they couldn’t handle a then 4-5 FCS team. There’s your horror. I’m starting to think UGA wins the SEC the more I see Bama coming down the stretch. If reports are true and Tua does have a torn MCL then he’s not healing prior to the SEC championship or playoff. I’m other words they are not the best team ever as ESPN says and I think CU v Bama IV is looking like CU has a better than average shot at taking them out. Again. That is if UGA doesn’t get them first. That said if Tua is miraculously healed then I think Bama wins it unfortunately for me.
