Australian here. We are even worse than the English due to our slang terms. I work for a US company though, so I am very familiar with both formats.

I do realise / realize that there are subtle differences between the two.

The Brits are just mad because we refused to pay the royalties on use of the language. Although my lawyer says we don't have to pay for the words color, aluminum, ass, mustache, oriented, pajamas, etc.

Really cool that Abrams and company hooked this guy up

Daniel Fleetwood, the terminally ill Star Wars fan who was given a special preview screening of ‘The Force Awakens’ by J.J. Abrams, has died.

He was 32.

It makes me respect Lucas even more that he had the class to rise above it, even when Pegg is insulting towards, and saying he has no respect for, both the man who created the whole thing in the first place and huge number of fans who disagree with him and think the prequels are good films.

I respect him for the work of his I like, but I think his attitude to those with a different view to him is quite nasty and intolerant, and more than a little patronising.
What was Pegg's involvement with the old Clone Wars show?
And yeah, Pegg's an asswipe. I know he wasn't a fan of PT but for him to just always piss all over it and act as if he's THE authority on all things Star Wars and insult people who enjoy the PT is asinine. I guess we'll ignore the fact that he'd have no career without Edgar Wright and JJ Abrams carrying him along wherever they go.

It's not him saying that stuff itself which annoys me, it's him taking the shilling to actually work on Clone Wars whilst despising the prequels at the same time, it's him criticising how infantile popular cinema has become in The Quest For More Merchandise whilst worshipping the very movies which started that craze in earnest. I don't mind people saying their piece if they stick to their guns, it's the hypocrisy that sticks in my craw. Berk.

One man sneaked onto the set of The Force Awakens and paid the ultimate price when he asked for an autograph.

[Show spoiler]

Sorry for my twisted sense of humor or lack there of. LOL!

I don't think Pegg said anything shocking. He ain't exactly a lone voice in the wilderness saying the Prequels were poorly executed movies. As for taking work in the Clone Wars show, if I loved Disney animated features, but thought there were serious issues with Home on the Range, Brother Bear, Dinosaur, and Chicken Little, but got offered a good script for a new Disney animated film...do I need to finish this sentence?

Lots of people love The Clone Wars and hate the prequels, and he isn't the only one who actively dislikes the prequels.
