No ......... It stay the same as it was when I entered the sequence.

And there is no display available to see if it self adjusts before and then again afterwards.

Never heard of that---design flaw I would say? When calibrating you are accomplishing two important goals. First is ensuring each speaker/sub produces the proper amount of output relative to one another. Second is the "reference level" is being set per the master volume display. In this case the latter isn't possible---except when using an external source/player with test tones.

You say you have a third party setup disc that you can use to set the speaker levels? Now, when you are playing this disc and go into the 2.0 processor to set the speaker levels..what does the master volume display typically read. Something like *-15* for example?

Hi all,

Back order update. We have just received notification from our Power-X 15" driver vendor that they will not be shipping our order until Monday. So we won't see it until Thursday-Friday of next (6th or 7th). This was originally scheduled to arrive about 2 weeks ago but our vendor had their own component outage and were not able to assemble our custom 15" drivers. They have JUST received these delayed components and plan to work all weekend so they can ship our order on Monday. I know this isn't great news but I want to keep everyone "in the loop" so to speaker. We should be able to ship out most if not all current orders by the end of next week. Anything remaining the following Monday as we will be working all weekend...as usual..

Cool

well over the weekend I talked to Tom about dual xv30f. Becuz I have a friend that has dual pb13's and they sound awesome but I want something better so he recommend the xv30f but I told him that I love bass so he recommend the Triax so we talked about the potential that the triax brings. So I made a order on a Triax I wanted duals but Tom said that one would be more than enough in a 14x10 seald room cant wait to get it.

I really cannot wait until you get the Triax Robert760. I know you had some concerns about a "sealed" subwoofer being a little "out gunned" compared to a ported subwoofer.

Just wait...

FYI, there was a GTG recently in Australia with many good subwoofers on hand including the XS30, Triax, and PB13_Ultra.

They might be. If you haven't gotten tracking info yet be sure to email me at support@powersoundaudio and I will figure it out for you. We have a few Triax orders waiting on inbound 4000 watt amps, but other than that we are all caught up for the moment.

All -
I live in the Indianapolis area and am in the market for a new sub. I was interested in hosting a review party for 20 or so people at the end of April or early May. I was wanting to use this opportunity to review several different subs. I have on my shortlist:
SVS PB-2000 or SB2000
PSA XV15 or XS 15
Hsu VTF-15H
or other similar offering

My current system is Paradigm Monitor 9 V6 fronts, CC290 center channel, Paradigm PV150 inwalls for surrounds and rears, and a JBL ES250PBK subwoofer. My receiver is an Anthem MRX-500, blu-ray player is Oppo BDP-103. My room is somewhat unusual in shape - 21'x14' with a vaulted ceiling up to 18' high over 1/2 with an 8' ceiling over the otehr 1/2. It is also open to a loft.

I have a pretty good relationship with my local Paradigm dealer and hope to be able to get some Studio 60 or 100 speakers with ADP surrounds to listen to as well.
I was wondering if there are any people who would either:
1) Like to come to listen to the review who is in the market for similar type equipment
2) Would just like to come to listen but isn't in the market
or 3) Would like to take part in the review and would have a sub in this price range that they would like to donate to the challenge for the afternoon.

I am hopeful that if we get enough interest I may be able to get some manufacturer catalogs, promotional items, and maybe they might even want to loan an outlet sub for the demo. But I know I can't count on that so I am throwing it out there for potential demo options from AVS members.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. If we can get enough interest - I will continue to pursue it. Currently I am looking at either the last two Saturdays in April or the first Saturday in May. Feel free to PM me if interested. We can discuss the review material later. Hopefully this is an opportunity to meet some new friends in the Indy area who love to listen to good music and watch movies on equipment that sounds better than the movies!

Sorry guys for adding to this thread. I tried to start a new one specifically for this but I probably don't have enough posts yet to do it.

Hi all,

Jim and I may be able to send something along as part of this GTG. A sub, a pair of speakers, maybe both. Depends on the timing as we're still in the "Nth degree of refinement" with the speakers. Jim is obsessive, what can I say?..
