It could be good, just it might not be Fantastic Four.

Or it's Chronicle 2, and that they've been trolling us that it's Fantastic Four.

It's amusing that we've seen more from The Force Awakens -- one of the most hyped and anticipated movies of recent years, and also a very secretive project -- than we have of this Fantastic Four movie.

There was the "leaked" images of a reference head of the Thing, and the Doctor Doom -- excuse me, Victor Domashev -- suit. And there was a photo of the outside of a building. That's it.

No concept art. No official images. No poster. No trailer. All we have are a handful of cast members and Fox's excuse of, "we want it to be perfect before we show anything." I get that, but... nothing?

I'm highly anticipating a trailer so we can get a feel for this movie.

If this turns out to be Chronicle 2 it'll be the greatest stunt ever pulled.

That sounds like studio-speak for "we have little to zero confidence in this project."

Then you could expect Uatu the Watcher and a truly unique and interesting story.

Then again, What If Doom was a hacker isn't the best start....

Doctor Doom as a blogger? Someone needs to slap 20th Century Fox, Gibbs-style. Stupidity has run rampant at Fox and Sony. Doctor Doom as a blogger? Aunt May as a secret agent? What next? Professor X as a brain surgeon?

Does anyone else think this is all some form of elaborate reverse-marketing? They "leak" out a bunch of stuff to make it sound worse than the 80's version to completely lower expectations, then when we all see the trailer we'll all be blown away by how awesome and faithful to the comics it is. I mean, they couldn't really mean all the horrible things they're saying, could they?

This is like making Joker a gay stylist who's barber shop shutdown.

I think I figured the plot out....

Dr. Doom is a guy who breaks an MMO server called World of Latvaria. He takes control, and a group of four disabled friends take to the internet to stop him

Cause then maybe they'll be some legitimacy in calling it a boycott.

Don't forget that they're boycotting a piece of entertainment that they have pay to have the privilege of experiencing in the first place anyway, because they don't like it. It's silly.
No one here is going to do those things because that would require effort. "Boycotting" a movie by not seeing it (or at least not paying to see it) is akin to Twitter "hashtag" slacktivism: do the bare minimum but dress it up in fancy language so you can feel better about yourself for sticking it to The Man.

Anyway, now that I know how this movie is treating one of the greatest comic book villains of all time, I can finally get on board with the prediction that this is going to suck. Looks like we'll have to wait even longer to get a proper version of Dr. Doom on the big screen.

Perhaps Dr. Doom will have an origin similar to that of Freakazoid, only he ends up being evil...

As the intro states, the plot was of this late 90s cartoon was that Dexter Douglas gets sucked into the internet and gets super powers.

Funnily enough, while he had powers, he could not fly, but would pretend to by running around with his arms pointed out and making "wooshing" sounds with his mouth.

As bad as this new FF4 movie is likely going to be, if they had Dr. Doom do that, it would at least be hilariously terrible.

Just put the Fox logo where Tony is in your mind's eye.

That would really wreck his relationship with Harley Quinn...beyond its already twisted status.

It seems that way with all the ridiculous things they're saying. Impossible to be true...

But that said, the casting is confirmed, and that's the most horrible news of all...
