Deads3t..... This may help others going forward too, so I'll list them all.

The other cases from what I recall from mine, are as follows....

THESE are in The Paper Digibook Style Cases

The Last Metro
Last Year At Marienbad
Bottle Rocket
The Last Emperor

Howards End
Monsoon Wedding
Repulsion
Wings of Desire
Pierrot le fou

You can try a google search for Barnes boble store coupon somtimes there are links that work for say 10 / 15% but depends. I tried a search and only coupons I could currently find were for members only sorry. Could change tomorrow or sat.

Default Rushmore on Blu-Ray

Rushmore is one of my favorite movies of all time. I was thinking that since the Criterion edition of this movie has been out of print somewhat recently, along with the fact that Bottlerocket was one of the first Criterion BD releases, that this movie will be coming to us by early next year. Anyone have any thoughts on this matter?

Hate to disappoint, but Rushmore is not out of print.

I think you can still order it directly from Criterion

As far as a Blu-ray release..... your guess is as good as anyone's.

EDIT:

here's the link to order

Rushmore is still available on Criterion.com and it is NOT listed as OOP. I woould like to see a new transfer for a BD and new DVD release however.

Hey, Beta Man - my copy of The 400 Blows that I received from Amazon, last week, was in the cardboard digipak style case. And all the copies I've seen of it at B&N are made that way. Everything else was spot on.

I picked up two more Criterion DVDs from B&N (Rashomon and The Spy Who Came in From the Cold), on Tuesday, and I'm thinking of making at least one more trip before the sale ends on Sunday. There are a few Japanese films sorely missing from my collection, such as Fire on the Plains, The Sword of Doom and Onibaba. Also, I currently only have the original Universal DVD release of Brazil (a travesty - I know!) Which version should I get from B&N, the 3-disc or the single disc? Because they have both. Is the 3-disc truly worth spending the extra money on?

All of my online orders were placed using the Visa coupon, which always gave me free 3-day expedited shipping. So, I haven't had any delays with any of Barnes & Noble orders. Mine have all had UPS tracking numbers, as well, so I've been able to watch their journey from California to Rhode Island.

How's the transfer on the Fear and Lothing in Las Vegas DVD? Also considering getting the For All Mankind blu! can's wait for the Complete Monterey Pop Blu-ray to come out, wow, Jimi Hendrix setting is guitar on fire in stunning 1080p!

Default Do you cinemaphiles even know

what out of print even means. It means that, in this case, Criterion is NO LONGER printing this edition of Rushmore and once the backstock runs out

Yes, you can still get the Criterion edition of Rushmore VIA the website and you can still get copies on Amazon and Ebay. What my OP was trying to convey is that since CRITERION will no longer be MAKING copies of RUSHMORE, even though you can CURRENTLY by their backstock copies, if by chance they are planning a BD release of this wonderful movie.

Brazil 3 Disc Set at that sale price is worth every penny and then some. Don't Hesitate. you will regret not having the really cool Documentary. (Just make sure the back of the box states it is 16:9 because I have seen some stores who still stock the original box set, backstock)
