I'd take hidden hand over rangefinder, but that's because I need all of the aim assist I can get. If you don't need the assist, rangefinder would be the next best choice.
Who am I kidding? The odds of getting one of these to drop are very, very, very slim. I bought a 55A from the Vanguard vendor last night and rolled it with hand-laid stock to maximize stability. The other stats were meh, but i don't want to spend the resources rolling a poor-man's Dodgeball unless it's something I can use, so I'll play with it for awhile. I tried using the Spare Change .25, but stability sux and it just seems to fire too slow for me. |

Is the Ash Factory RL with tripod, and Vacuum worth keeping for a PvP launcher?

I rerolled two guns and both turned out exactly like I wanted after just a couple of tries, and they now make up my primary and secondary. Feeling confident due to this, I recently got a new scout rifle which was meant to be an absolute beast with a certain roll, after almost twenty rolls without ever getting even two of the three perks at once, I dismantled the gun in frustration. I then went online and found that people can literally roll guns hundreds of times before they get the combo they want and thanked my lucky stripes that with the first two at least, I got exactly what I wanted after only about ten rolls between the two.

Yeah, it does, but it's well worth it when you finally get the "god-roll", or close to it. For PvP, you MUST have grenades and horseshoes. Javelin and verniers will increase velocity, which reduces the time an enemy can jump out of the way. Tripod gives you three in the launcher, and sometimes will give you one extra rocket total. If you don't get tripod and G&H, keep rolling.

![]() Ill Will (sureshot, final round, smallbore, luck in the chamber) Radegast's Fury (aggressive launch, tripod, javelin, tracking) Matador 64 (field choke, shot package, smallbore, final round) Her Benevolence (ambush, outlaw, injection mold, unflinching)--not god tier but incredible nonetheless. BTRD-345 (accurized ballistics, counterbalance, AP rounds, crowd control)--not god tier but a PvP monster. Currently rolling a Hopscotch Pilgrim, Jolder's Hammer, BTRD-345 (2nd one), and Her Benevolence (2nd one) Truer words have never been spoken lol Not to mention, in true junkie fashion, i've exchanged all ascendant shards/energies for motes as well. I had approx 400+ of each. Last edited by Snake_XRS; 07-16-2015 at 08:06 PM. |

felwinters with aggressive ballistics, shot package, kneepads, hammer forged efrideets with ambush/longview slr10, double down, armor piercing, final round jolders with aggressive, rodeo, field scout, feeding frenzy her benevolence with ambush/longview slr10, unflinching, snapshot/armor piercing, hidden hand radegast with warhead verneers, tripod, horsehoes (missing the velocity boost so my tomorrow's answer is better) I probably spent 200k+ glimmer on felwinters and efrideets. I burned through all my shards/energies converting to glimmer to buy 500 glimmer weapons from trials to then break down into 2-4 weapon parts. I'm working on improving my her benevolence once I get more parts to burn. |

![]() ![]() Protip: I currently run strikes, get tons of green and blue engrams, then complete bounties. Equip a green weapon on each slot and every 5000xp bounty will pretty much max out the xp of the green weapon. When you dismantle the weapon you'll get 3-5 parts, it's way more efficient than paying 500 glimmer to get 2-4 parts IMO. For each bounty you'll have anywhere between 9-15 parts. For the blue engrams, immediately dismantle them for 2-4 parts, they absorb way too much xp to level up, and only return about 7 parts when fully leveled. Serious question for you guys. Does the rerolling make THAT big of difference? Is that 200k in glimmer going to make such an immense difference in practical usage?
