Walmart can't get the new release movies out on time, so I'm not sure why I expected them to be able to get Astral Chain out today. Now I'll have to stop by another location after work late night or in the early morning. Maybe Amazon will price match before I get around to buying in store.

Can't wrap around my head how quickly time is flying by. Summer unofficially ends this weekend and now we're going to start seeing "holiday" ads and displays everywhere. I am NOT ready for Jingle Bells and store shelves full of cheap ornaments

But seriously, that is a side effect and I'm not sure why it happens. It doesn't matter too much right now as I'm not currently active with anyone. tell me about it my Walmart is crap you have price tag stand by me 4k tues but no movie then 2 days later I call back somebody mention they have it in stock due to delayed go last night still nothing

even had a guy do a scanner on price sticker and couldn't find location I had to end up order it last night along with pre owned crazy stupid love bluray using bullmoose points 5 bucks paying 26 and both got shipped last night meh

oh even apocalypse now 4k also just showing price tag but no movie

Today is the last day of school where my daughter is a preteen. On Tuesday when they go back, and until she graduates, she will be a teenager. Yikes. I can't believe how old she is. I remember vividly my time in school when I was that old. That's just nuts.

i stopped shopping for movies at walmart hell, i stopped shopping at walmart altogether.....unless they have something that NO ONE else has. which is rare. and i'd much rather order it on amazon, wait a week to 2 weeks for delivery, than drive the 1 mile to walmart.

I'm most likely going to lose a bet.

I thought that 2019 would see the release of Avatar in 4K UHD for it's 10 Year Anniversary which comes this December. It could happen, but I think I'm taking the L. Now that Avatar 2 comes out in 2021 (SURE.......) the 4K release could be used as a lead-in + a re-release in theaters at any point in the next two years, but not this year.

Even if I had full control, I wouldn't release this in 4K UHD + a theater run until December of next year if Avatar 2 is really coming in 2021. Get the hype back up since it'll be over 11 years since the original. I guess we will see.

I am so ready but then again I hate summer. By the first day of summer, I'm ready for fall and overcast, rainy days

There has been a parakeet the size of a dove in my parents backyard, eating the birdseed they put out for all the other birds, the past few days. Either it escaped from someone's house, or they let it go for whatever reason. Either way, it seems to be doing okay. The other birds aren't sure what to make of it, but if it says around a little longer I'm sure they'll go about business as usual. The only predators to worry about are hawks and maybe the rare eagle. Also, there is a white dove that hangs out back there sometimes.

Can't get over how old Linda Hamilton looks on that T6 trailer. She looks like she's pushing 80 but she can't possibly be that old, can she? Unless that was mostly makeup lol. I thought Arnie was beginning to look quite elderly in other recent films but Hamilton's got him beat. Arnie himself doesn't look old in that trailer, BTW. Must be the facial hair covering up the wrinkles

I actually left my hometown for the opposite reason, to get away from family. Now we live about 1 1/2 - 2 hours from any & all relatives, and are loving it thus far.

This was my first FFA (*free for all) weekend in months, 3 whole days of no OT at work and no work done on the houses... Quite frankly, I don't like being lazy, I have to keep busy. That said, I'm bored outta my mind right now.
