Quick question: why does the forum part on here look like its from 1998? Have I changed some setting somewhere? The front page is the same as always..

Not much has changed overall in the way forums are formatted, with many having the same basic look they've had since the early days of the internet. There's also a lot more clutter and advertising. Not sure if they're still around but DVD File looks similar to Blu-ray.com in terms of design (and so does Hi Def Ninja). I used to visit a lot of forums that tried to go sleek but many of those have disappeared.

What I mean is: it looks nothing like it did yesterday. No search bar, no deals section - just "blu-ray.com" written on a grey background. On my phone it looks right so I must've done something

EDIT: aaah. I had it changed from "blu-ray style" to "default style" at the very bottom of the page. Today I learned something new.

Yes, always flying to work and back.

That's a lot of effort to put in and risk to your body. Why not just live where you can drive to work?

My grandfather, dead a long time now, high ranking, joked that the Air Force was only giving blood thinners to pilots who spent a long time at altitude, routinely, because they have to be monitored too closely, with constant blood testing. They had rules about how often a pilot could go up, not in wartime, to prevent accumulations of tiny blood clots, that can stick together and cause stroke. That was in the 1970s. I can't understand anyone still commuting by airplane. One trip, a couple times a year, you can still end up like Luke Perry, a few days off the plane, hit by a massive stroke caused by micro clots joining together, when they should have dispersed and dissolved.

I wish you luck with this, truly, but you may want to rethink the constant air travel idea.
I've been doing this for years n years. On and off since the mid-90's.
Other than the winter road season, flying is the only way to get to the Diamond Mines.

It's a great shift! Many people have to work a year before getting two weeks off, I get that every month. When I don't do o.t. that is.
I think you'd like it Mike.

At another mine that I worked at, there was this young Fella who switched to underground, which was a 3/3 rotation. He ended up buying a place in the Carribean and spent almost all of his three weeks off there. Could you imagine spending half of your life in paradise? Insane!

You both hit the nail on the head miribeau and Mike16. Considering I’m venting on a public forum I don’t see anything inappropriate about anyone offering up sound advice. In all honesty, there isn’t anything here that I haven’t already said to her during these talks. As far as VA benefits, I’ve not explored my options outside of being seen at the VA Clinic Mike16. Again, thank you for giving me a venue to vent and offering counsel. Now I’m going to try and enjoy this last day off. Even if it is going to be basically the usual lazy day around the house.

do you think a small company like cw channel 58 Nashville should give their rights up to direct tv ? or do you think cw 58 is trying to be better person again there's no negotiation yet despite direct tv promised saying no disruptions who knows what fcc is going to do anyways cw been down since june 5th

I mean the only reason why got abc back last thurs night due to football season Nexstar, however cw 58 isn't with Nexstar due to lawsuit fcc stuff surely cw 58 will be back by oct 5th and folks actually care new season's and shows like batgirl arrow supergirl riverdale etc etc etc

Federer lost to an opponent who had never beat him before in 7 tries. Feels like a punch to the nuts.

So where is jayman these days? Probably found some old rich lady in Miami who wants to be his sugar mama and give him everything he needs

USPS lost another drop shipped package of mine. How do they magically lose 50% of the packages after UPS drops them off? Tracking number says that it was left with the post office but it never gets delivered after that point. I'm still trying to figure out what the benefit to drop shipping is. Makes no sense to have one company receive it, drop it off and then have another company do the final delivery.

You were on strike last week? Did you and the other executives jet off to St. Tropez?

Took an online chapter 2 quiz, considering how many of those answers I guessed on and that I didn't really review beforehand, I will accept an 11/15 score.
