I should have known. With less than a month before the films release, we're being bombarded with all the footage. There's no holding back from Disney now.

The interesting thing is, all the footage is from the same small cluster of scenes… so they're not really giving away anything new (which is a good thing). I'm sure there's a LOT more to the movie than the few sequences we keep seeing over and over. I bet in retrospect we'll see these trailers and realize how little they showed.

I hope so. I'm already regretting watching the tv spots.

It was confirmed recently that it is indeed Luke's lost lightsaber.

And if you needed confirmation, here it is: that blue lightsaber Finn wields in the trailer and on the poster? It’s the same one Luke lost at the battle of Cloud City; the same one that belonged to Anakin and was passed down via Obi-Wan. EW teases “In this film … it’s an important piece of the puzzle that will reveal Luke’s fate and whereabouts.”

I wonder how long those Stormtroopers with their batons will last against our lightsaber-wielding hero(es)? Would be cool to see them put up a bit more of a fight than we're used to.

That CGI hasn't aged all that well, for a quick second I thought it was a pic from that Clone Wars animated series.

Totally different reading of "Chewie, we're home" in this clip; from a completely different take. I liked the original reading better. Reminds me of certain Harrison Ford line readings that showed up in the "Crystal Skulls" trailer and were much, much worse in the movie. Blerg.

I thought the same thing when seeing that clip, let's hope they used the previous take!

It's playing round the clock at the San Antonio IMAX in 3D.

There's talks that The Force Awakens will be playing non-stop over opening weekend. It'll be showing 24 hours for each day.
