If you can't do anything in this game it's because you've put in zero effort. I can make a post on reddit fireteams for literally anything in this game and get the people I need in less than a minute. Dead serious; less than a minute. You need five for Crota or VoG? Done. Two for PoE? Done. A 34 Titan with Ghorn and a 34 hunter for Skolas? Done. It takes longer to type out the request then it does for the responses to flow in. Take some responsibility for your enjoyment.

So Bungie is perfectly fine to let the community make and maintain the tools they should have done themselves?

Good luck pushing that careless design in any other MP game.

Yes. They appear to be absolutely fine with it. I know that because they continue to let it happen. They put out expansion after expansion that hasn't corrected it. They clearly are ok with it. If that's an issue and you're not willing to spend fifteen seconds asking for help then find a game that does forced matchmaking.

I'm not taking up for Bungie. There is a lot of stuff about the game that annoys me but there's way more that I enjoy. There was no matchmaking so I sought out help and now I have an awesome raid group that I enjoy the sh!t out of playing with each week.

I'm not argumentative at all. I went out of my way when you showed up to take you through a raid to help you get better gear. I offered to take you again this week even though I've already completed them and don't need to run them. People will help but you need to show some initiative.

Again, I'm really not trying to start a fight or argument. I have no problem with you and would help you again in a second if you asked. I just have a very different opinion on this as someone who started playing by himself just like you did.

Just got a third ghorn so now I don't have to keep swapping one for the third wheel.

I like the rebalancing of weapons. Everyone using the exact same weapons in crucible gets stale really quickly. There should be equal use of all the weapon classes. That was something we actually had at launch.

Rebalancing of weapons for PvP reasons is great and all. But when it affects PvE play, that's where I have issues with it. There's absolutely no reason to nerf guns against AI. It's a game and it's supposed to be FUN, not a chore.

I said argumentative this eve, I don't know why you're bringing anything else up? But yes, you did, and I'm grateful and have reflected this multiple times in this thread. As I have the many positives and my enjoyments with the game but the game has a LOT of issues which Bungie are simply not addressing and that is infuriating.

I'm certainly having a lot of fun with my Titan, I definitely think Destiny is at its best before level 20. I know you get all the good gear level 20, onwards but the game slows to a crawl and makes you a victim to the RNG and forces you to go out and seek parties for high level stuff. Right now I played for maybe an hour, or two, of PVP with my Titan and leapt from level 7 to level 11. It's a rush. So many new abilities, so much loot, so much levelling.

FINALLY MADE IT!

And I only had to be carried through the last 3 rounds because my nerves were in Queensbridge by then (I live in Miami).

Fire Summoner, Hawkmoon, Etheric, and the Emblem - Summoner is cool now that Auto rifles are making a comeback.



My first 3-4 matches I was on my game then the closer we got to 9 the slower my reflexes got.

LOL Black Hammer will not be useless because of this patch. You can still stun lock a boss constantly nailing the crit shots. And you're still getting 18 shots worth of crit damage. It's still a great gun, just no infinite ammo if you're a great shot.

Yes they're okay with no matchmaking in end game content. They stated plenty of times early on and even as the question comes up, that they don't believe in matchmaking for Raids.

I did all of the dragon strikes on my titan yesterday and managed to get a Hopscotch Pilgrim. Didn't get the all the rolls I wanted but good enough.

On the hunt for the Dry Rot shotgun.

The gun itself won't be "useless", but the white nail perk is almost useless now. Raid weapons should be superior to non-raid weapons. So what was the logical, rational decision for Bungie nerfing this weapon? Why take away what was special about this gun? They're clearly homogenizing all the special weapons in this game, which is ruining the PvE fun factor.

I think you're confusing fun for easy.

White Nail still saves you from reloading and is nonstop DPS. But it's only useful on tanks and stationary bosses anyway.
