Apparently people who believe in such things are unfamiliar with the saying "alls fair in love and war". To pretend that there's an unwritten code of ethics when engaging in FPSs is ridiculous when there are classes/game modes which encourage "camping". Don't get me wrong, I've found myself spewing profanities at gamers who camp, but as I've already stated, if I know where you're camping, come after you, and you still kill me, thats on me (fool me once, shame on you....) just the same as if I run out in the middle of the map (like the snow-covered area in Frozen Dam)and I get sniped, thats on me also.

also i might add to what i was saying about KZ Warzone game modes encouraging" camping"

1. you have the TSPs which need protecting and i also do my fair share of capturing which means i have to kill the so called "campers" first

2. search and destroy when onne team has to camp down and defend an area while another team attacks and trys to plant explosives...camping?

3. Capture and hold. capture an area and hold it down forcing the other team to try and capture it from you...camping?

4. Assassination. when one team has to camp down protecting a target while the other team trys to get to him and kill him...camping?

When is camping not camping?

actually, I personally haven't found that the "camping" forced on players by the gamemode are annoying (nor do I think most people do). It's the guy who just camps in a random spot for no apparent reason, besides it being a good spot to do so, that's annoying.

When you're (I'm) the one doing it. To tell someone who's found a strategy that works for them that they're playing the game wrong (unless they are using a glitch/cheat) is childish. I say find what works for you and do it. I would say if you wanna sit in one place and try and kill whatever passes by that you'd be happier playing a rail shooter, but I'm not gonna throw a tantrum if you don't.

But we all know where those places are. Proceed with caution is well advised in those areas.

No the gamemodes are not annoying, i love them its my favourite game nor do i think its camping but some people might call it camping just like in COD when a team holds up in a building forcing the other team to attack, this gets called camping. im just throwing different opinions out there really

I never camp im busy being a Tactician capturing and protecting TSPs

Anyway i havent been able to connect since the patch come out, 2 damn days!

Its not camping when you are holding/protecting an objective !!!

Camping is when someone is hiding in a corner and waiting for others to come out to him in a deathmatch game. In warzone, the rules of the game are different so its not really camping when at times it looks like camping.

In KZ3 beta, by making it easier to kill somebody makes it easier for campers and it kind of promotes that kind of play. In KZ2, it was more difficult to kill your opponents which meant campers didnt stand a chance

Totally agree but there was a lot of debate on KZ forums in the Private beta about Tacticians holding down TSPs for their team. I recieved a few massages from other players not happy about the fact they could not take the TSP from me accusing me of camping

On the map Turrbine Concourse SE6 There are 2 spawn points one of which is so important if your team occupies that TSP 9 times out of 10 your team will win. so not only have you got the battle of objectives but a constant battle for this particular spawn point its great fun

Are health packs gone for good in KZ 3?

I couldn't connect last night so played against bots and had a really good game!

Shame I can't rack up that kind of score against real players The bots were at level 2 or 3 I think and they played a good game; good AI

Camping for me is someone lurking around a spawn point and picking people off as they join the game, the joiner has no chance so it's totally unfair. Maybe freshly spawned players should have a few seconds invincibility?

However, if you are a marksman and you're watching a specific part of the map and protecting something, then that's fair game - it's what the marksman is all about.

As for the TSP's, well the clue is in the name, so of course there should be some fighting over them and it's down to each side to work together to take them from the opposition! I take it only Tacticians can "capture" these?

Hopefully GG will sort out the connection problem today, I follow them on Twitter so if they post anything I'll post it here.

Campaign is gorgeous! Far better looking than any other console FPS. Quite a lengthy demo. Looks just as good in co-op split screen (though they need to fix the text in co-op, freaking tiny!!). Plays and sounds fantastic as well

I havent been able to join since the patch was realeased, im sure it will be sorted soon KZ forums are inundated with posts off people who cant connect, the "Server Startup Problems" thread is the fastest moving thread ive ever seen

With a couple of weeks to go, is it worth suggesting a clan name for the KZ3 players on this forum?

Off the top of my head I though of UK-Blu and US-Blu? No exclusion intended for those forumites not from either country! I don't know how many letters you're allowed of if - is allowed either!

I've noticed some clans already playing and wondered if they will keep their name once the finished game arrives?

My suggestions are bit naff (lame) so any thoughts? There are enough of us here to form some good sized clans and get ourselves up the rankings!
