With my Bby having sooo many extra copies of the Dark Knight Rises Steelie, I'm tempted to spend the $10 and buy one to use it and make a few custom steels

I want to do the same to make my JB Hifi Back to the Future steel hold all three movies.

Making it region free was easy once I got the remote to finally work. Which brings me to my only downside...the remote. yeah that happens with these cheap Blu-ray players... 480p makes the picture look smoother while 1080p introduces some noise and artifacts.

Nevertheless, this is worth buying.

Yep BTTF, Star Wars, The Transporter, Jurassic Park, maybe even a Hunger Games and Riddick Trilogy set eventually...I think it'd be fun to make some customs and after some practice, who knows, maybe even sell some...the 1st I'd like to do I only need a Single disc Steelie...I wanna do a custom Hitman movie one, and a Punisher set...I have an easy idea to do a nice simplistic look that'll look awesome, just a matter of getting the cases and then selling off the actual discs to someone

Nevertheless, this is worth buying.

Got it hooked up to my Harmony 900 with an IR blaster and now the remote works fine. Guess it is just a cheap remote which is expected with a BD player this cheap.

You have it in the right place. There's a thread in that section of the forum for $20 an less steelbooks but everything else has to go where you currently have it.

heads up, for those who may have missed this in the deal thread at HDN, HMV in England has put out quite a bit of stock of the Avatar Steelbook. Several people are helping out users to get it at cost (GBP 9.99 plus shipping and fees). I've just secured a copy (sent to my parents where I'll pick it up on May 16th).

I believe it's just the 2D version. I plan on putting my Panasonic Exclusive 3D copy, that I got with my TV, in there. I have the LE set for the 2D version too.
