yeah this one I stopped at yesterday is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I had always wanted to stop there and finally had a chance to yesterday. due to their location I think they probably get some decent stock and whatever employees don't like or want will make it out to the floor.

not sure if anyone has ever used TradeBlock but had a funny story.
Put up a public offer for my size 8.5 shoes (tb value $278) in search of a size 13, which TB values at $330. Just threw it up there for the hell of it, open to throwing some cash in to even things out.
Got an offer from another user for my shoes PLUS $150, which would've put my value at $428 vs his $330. I countered with my shoes plus $50, which would have made things essentially even, not accounting for TB service fees plus tax.
He declined immediately along with a snotty ass message about me asking him to pay more. He could've just declined or made a counter, which I would've been open to throwing in a little more cash but not much.
I responded with the same energy he gave me, saying I didn't ask him for anything, he came at me with the initial ridiculous offer and then I blocked him because there would be no point in going back and forth.
I posted a screenshot over on the TradeBlock subreddit to show how funny it all was and guess what ... he's a member there lol. He called me a coward for blocking him but then his reasoning was that he saw my public offer and thought it was so ridiculous that he had to send a ridiculous offer of his own. lol ok. He was just hoping he found someone dumber than him, tall order. Anyways, others in the sub told him he was being ridiculous. For consistencies sake I blocked him there too so I am not sure if he kept going.

Won the UNC's yesterday on SNKRS! these were really my most anticipated, wanted pair of the year so the dub feels nice!

member access to the dunk by you lows seemingly went out to everyone again yesterday. price increase to $170 but this time they offered more customization options - tiger print, cheetah print and croc print suede in addition to the standard leather options. the suede options allowed for name customization on the tongue, which was a new feature.
my wife is into cheetah and tiger print so she made herself a pair. I made another just standard leather pair, a bit UNC inspired, black base with baltic blue swoosh, tongue, toebox. shipping sometime in September.

Anyone on here purchase sneakers from eBay that included their Authenticity Guarantee?

I've read mixed reviews but they seem legit. I purchased some shoes and they failed them. They did not provide details as to why they failed. Obviously they were fake. Not sure why a seller would even list fake shoes and try to pass them off as real when they know they have to go through the authentication process. I guess some shoes slip through the cracks? They refunded me right away so I was glad about that.

eBay is considered top tier as far as authentication. I have both bought and sold via ebay and trust them completely.
GOAT is considered on par with eBay and StockX is considered last place

I’ve purchased about 15 pairs of expensive sneakers from ebay, mostly Jordans.

None of them failed authentication. I still have legit questions about the authenticity of a couple pairs, mainly a pair of Shadow 1s that have never glittered.

There are videos that show eBay legit checkers doing checks that don’t exactly inspire confidence, but overall it seems like they do a relatively good job compared to StockX. But fake pairs are so good these days that it raises questions about the value of minimum wage teenagers performing 60 second inspections.

The reason I use eBay, instead of StockX/Goat, is because you can look at photos and inspect the shoes yourselves, as well as communicate with the seller and ask questions.

As opposed to StockX, where you’re putting 100% of the responsibility for authentication into the hands of the authenticator.

Yeah…once the seller failed to respond to my request for more photos I knew something wasn’t right. A few weeks went by and eBay offered 10% off so I decided just to go for it.

It still blows my mind that the idiot seller took nearly two weeks to ship the shoes (which were fake), to the authenticator knowing they would likely fail. Just glad my money was protected and I got my refund.
