The mem leak is patched but I think the enemies & bosses get a Vitality & Stanima cap each time they face you until you kill them, then it's reset after so many failed attempts. |

It's odd because Demons Souls (supposedly) got harder the more you died.

It seems odd in Bloodborne that you are not playing any differently (Making same mistakes) yet the bosses & enemies seem like they are not as strong or quick as before. Maybe it's just random luck since they all have more then one move to kill you & that gets shuffled in the mix the second, third try.. |

I never noticed any difficulty evolution in Bloodborne. I did think early videos demonstrated memory leak at times.
Demon's Souls was unique. Each level had I think seven levels of gray from white to black. You character had seven levels from white to black. Every time you died or killed a good guy, your character lost a level, up to the limit of pure black. The level of the world you were in also lost a level toward black. When you beat a boss and some other stuff perhaps you gained a level of gray, as did the world you were in, up to pure white. The darker you character, the lower your damage and lower your HP. The darker the world, the tougher the enemies. Black enemies dropped better stuff and granted more souls, though, so it was not lose-lose, and it was not a bottomless pit of despair. I found Ebrietas the hardest boss in Bloodborne, followed by Amygdala. The attack from behind did not work for me, as you note the camera problem. I mostly stayed out front, dodged the ranged attacks and the lunge, making my move after the lunge. Bone marrow ash and your pistol can do quite a bit of damage with a face shot. I also stayed out front of Amygdala in the main game encounter. Not enough space to do that in the dungeon. |

I will say that Cainhurst castle was a disappointment. I expected that area of the game to be much bigger. I was very surprised at how quickly (and easily) I got to Longarious. I expected to go through the courtyard and fight a miniboss and/or hunter. All you do is enter the castle go through a few rooms and into a giant library then walk on the roof then Martyr Longarious.
I would have happily traded more of that area for the stupid chalice dungeons. |

If you want to avoid that, you'll have to play offline for the moment. Edit: You can also try to find the bell maiden, but she is in a cave past the two hunters that hang out past a bridge. |

EDIT: And I actually stumbled upon her too, so I could not tell you for sure how to find her. Maybe If I check the book later. Amygdala is my current target as Logarius destroyed me easily. |
