Harsh that. Dan Murrell is an absolute class act (I've had one of two exchanges with him), and he's as fair-minded as they come. If Dan absolutely hated it, then that saddens me.

There were reports that the premiere was 39% down from the season 1 premiere, but when it comes to streaming I don't put much stock in those numbers.

Even if it was, saying it "bombed" is the usual hyperbolic way of having to lump everything into some extreme.

This will be the first MCU film that I’ll be missing in theater, the trailers hasn’t sold me, the runtime always made me feel like a lot will be left desired and it doesn’t help that the villain seems to be forgettable and generic. I admire Nia DaCosta taking on this project but I’m not interested at all, this seems like this will be a streaming kinda of movie honestly.

Nielsen is not and never will be an accurate tracker of data. When I did Nielsen 1 person is equal to 1000 people. It is also only tracking the first three days. Guess no one watched it after that.

When you look at that scene, and the context, it makes no sense.

.....ooooohhh k? Does Carol fly because of "Black girl magic"? Contextually it just feels like a line thrown in just to be thrown in.
