Nightfalls or 34/35 PoEs. Also, ToO and Iron Banner.

Do yourself a favor a don't rush to make yourself a 34 just for 34s sake. Make sure you are buying the right armor for your play style and not upgrading junk just to be a 34. It'll make it worse down the road when you have to redo your setup.

Make sure you decide which weapon class is your favorite. If you're a hand cannon guy and have a legendary chest piece that gives extra scout rifle ammo, it's worthless to your play style. If you love throwing grenades every five seconds but have all intellect armor, you're not helping yourself. Things like that. It's better to wait up front to become a 34 and get it right then grind later once you've already burned through your Etheric light and armor cores. Just my opinion.

Yeah I went with New Monarchy for my Hunter, but now I'm not sure if it was the best idea. I always thought nades were kinda useless for PVP until I went back and used the first nade you get for the Arc subclass and if you manage to stick one of those suckers on someone, guaranteed kill. Might switch to another faction that helps with those now.

Guns are difficult too, especially when you take rolls into consideration. I think auto rifles are fantastic for PVP but less useful for PVE, for example. Just like I love a sniper for PVE but never get a chance to use it all for PVP and so on.

So how hard is POE 35? I need to do that for the emblem but I don't have a gally.

I have ice breaker maxed w/ etheric upgrade, but seems like people don't want to run it unless you have a gally.

Skolas isn't difficult but the mechanics require strong teamwork and communication. Ghally isn't necessary for this boss fight but you'll need something better then icebreaker as you are going to need to shoot a lot of bullets at once and to clear the ads, you are going to have to constantly be moving and sniper isn't the best IMO.

I've done it twice. With a group of friends and finished it in 90 mins. Second time with randoms and I stopped trying after 5 hours ...

I'm nowhere near good with headshots (to consider myself top-tier PvP) - so the ability to bounce neck-to-head and get bonus damage is quite the boon for me.

For this same reason I don't consider myself a very good sniper, and despite awesome rolls on my Trials sniper (Her Benev, AA scope, unflinch, HH, and stability boost) I prefer my Praedyths just for the two body shots alternative. I've played PvP with some of you guys, and I do consider myself a solid B in the PvP department, but I'll never be an A without mastering headshots.

And like Joe said, if they're nerfing stability a bit on PRs (since right now they are primary snipers, to be honest) then Headseeker will be even more important.

The Messenger is the perfect gun for my playstyle, I still have yet to find my "special" slot perfect weapon though. Part of me keeps wanting to go back to Plan C...

I feel like I got a god tier pvp roll on this scout rifle. Didn't even need to reforge, it just came like this.

Looks like Smallbore on Perk 2 with Red Dot OAS on the sights - 11 rounds with LitC (33% bonus damage on one round) and third eye.

You stay in the mid to long-range side of firefights, and you'll be golden. 3rd Eye, no one will get to sneak up on you at all!

I was with you for the Praedyths revenge. I felt like I was a beast with the sniper, but for trials, you can't use it. It's a crutch more then anything. You need to be able to one shot someone on the revive and Praedtyhs can't. Add to the fact that with the ram it can be 3 body shots, it's just not a viable sniper, for Trials at least.

I forced myself to use her benevolence (same roll as you) and I've gotten much better with it.

I forced myself to take the Benev into PvE content to at least get better with headshots - because for the same thing you said - it's useless in the most critical moments in Trials, as I came to find out. I put away my sniper and took out Felwinter's and stayed away from the open area on the outside of the Cauldron after that.

Someone recommended I turn down my controller sensitivity to 4 or 5 from 10 so the reticle is more easily assisted by Aim Assist. I'll have to try that out.

Anything arc related, as Lizard mentioned.

I usually roll with Fatebringer, efridths spear (6 in the chamber and lots of special ammo) or found verdict and ghally as my heavy. But I would be tempted to use Thunderlord or an Arc rocket launcher if you had tripod and grenades / horseshoes.

I'm at 4 right now and I love it. I also bought these http://www.kontrolfreek.com/classic/...eek-cqcx.html/ and I swear by them. Going back to a controller with no kontrol freak feels unatural.

The added grip and movement control definitely makes a huge difference.

I'm not saying you have to buy these, but you definitely won't regret it if you end up buying them, especially at ~12$.

Im just used to 10 to make quick adjustments when I used to play Crucible shortranged. Apparently I've been doing this all wrong,
