i don't have a 4k player or a 4k tv. i'm hoping to remedy that by next year.

We have the 4k tv, but really just because the last one finally died on us. Though I might change my mind in the future~ I feel like having the blurays played on a 4k tv looks great as it is. Of course if they ever stopped making blu discs and only went to 4k then I would switch

I pretty much stopped buying 4K indiscriminately and now just grab select back catalog titles and only if they're personal favorites. Stand By Me is said to be only marginally better-looking than the Blu-ray so I skipped that one.
Also, 4K discs seem to be manufactured poorly because many of the titles I've purchased skip and freeze a lot.

I don't either. I don't have a 4K TV yet but I technically have a player (Xbox One X). I don't see the point in paying $10-$15 extra for a 4K disc when I don't even have the means to display it. I'll be buying Blu-rays until whenever it is I get a 4K TV, then at that point I'll start buying 4K discs. But I'm sure as hell not re-purchasing my entire collection on 4K. Been through that twice now from VHS to DVD to Blu-ray. Too damn expensive.

I subscribed to Netflix in 4k and love it.
If any sports channels were in 4k, my data overages would be insane.

I don't buy 4K either. My Blu-ray collection has been growing over the last few years or so. I'm not converting to another format and rebuying titles again.

WTH? This is the second time I got a customer with the same name as someone important to me. The first one was at barnes and noble who had the same name as Queen but this time at Pets Mart has the same name as Princess. So far I have not seen Angel but why the hell does this even happen in the first place?

I buy 4K but don't have a 4K player. I only buy the latest Marvel/comic book movies in 4K and stick with standard Blu-ray on everything else. The difference in quality isn't big enough for me to care about 4K honestly.

I just checked my spam folder to see if a notification went there. I never pay attention to the spam, but this email from the FBI made me laugh.
