Most likely it was a preorder and the company that they preordered from made a mistake and sent them out a week early. Now, Argo is being sold now at Walgreens like Sad Beautiful Tragic said, but I thought it was just the DVD version, but could be wrong.

Not everything. There are 2-3 DVD's missing and 2-3 Blu-Rays missing. Plus a Shaw Brothers Boxed set not shown.

The older ones, things like Dumb and Dumber, Big Trouble in Little China etc are upgrades to DVD versions.

I don't normally bother to post a picture of one disc but this is bit unusual. I don't think this is on BD in the U.S.. I'm in Canada and this is released here by E One. Commentary track, alternate multicam takes, extended scenes, outakes and a couple of featurettes.

Generally, I don't give a rat's rear end about slip covers which I regard as a nuisance. In this case. the BD case is one of those Eco cases so I appreciated the slip cover as extra protection so that nothing could push through and damage the data side of the disc.

Just got it so I can't comment on the movie itself.

When people get review copies of movies, I really wish they would mention that when they post pics of their hauls. That way we don't get questions from people asking how people got the movies so early.

Do they get to keep the review copies? Or do they have to send them back after a certain amount of time has lapsed? Just curious.
