what the hell? I order Perfect Blue BD and Ghost in the Shell DVD from Barnes and Noble and got a shipping conformation then I get some weird email saying it will be charged once its shipped and down below something about

. so I check the status on the website which says processing and click on the order and it doesn't do anything.

So would this mean that they are out of stock since I should have money in my account since I bought this before I bought Demi's book which was processed and I can pick up locally.

Edit: the one in process was Demi's which I have a pickup notice while the completed one is Perfect Blue and Ghost in the Shell DVD[$5.00, I wished I kept it before but it being this low why not]

Still I get the order summary after it ships that's confusing as hell and also is why Demi's still processing when I can pick it up.

Nothing much really. I found out today that this girl I met at Stanford in '17 or '18 is actually 29 and not 18 like I thought she might be. I never asked to take her out for fear that she was so young but now I learn that I should have asked her age and I should have asked her out. Unfortunately she's back home in France now so not sure when I'll eve see her again.

What's really on my mind right now is that I hate being lazy when it comes to messaging people back on Facebook. I have a few messages to reply to and while I doubt the people are anxiously waiting for me to message them back, I do feel guilty for taking so long. I'm just so lazy though. I mean it's the end of the night and I have nothing better to do but I just don't feel like doing anything that requires too much thought right now lol

Wondering if I should try to talk to the store manager to see if he still wants me as his assistant manager once the current one is done. How the current ASM is going to get me prepared when he can never vocalize his frustration and has no patience. I thought he was going to lose his mind when a roll of shrink wrap was giving us grief.

It didn’t help that the customer was extra “helpful” in a Captain Obvious kind of way. I ended up walking away after I ask if he had it handled. I was so done. Anyway, might be time to talk before this new program rolls out to make sure we’re still on track. Otherwise I’m going to have to look at another location to get where I want to be.

Nah, he kind of gets quiet and makes you feel like you don’t know what you are doing (or too slow) instead of communicating how he wants to do it. I had to leave before I went off on him or the customer. Who was pissing me off more than the ASM. It was pissing rain and be bought a pallet of 30 feed pellets. That shit wasn’t going anywhere or fly off

they want to hang out? just tell them to meet you for drinks at a local place. keep it casual and let them "take the lead". if they're interested, they might just come right out and tell you. but if not, all you did was have a couple drinks with them at some bar. and since y'all met there, no pressure or awkward rides anywhere, since you're in separate vehicles (your car, a cab, subway, etc....don't know where you live). just make sure to meet them on separate days if you plan in hanging out with both of them.

just have fun and see where any of it leads.....

Well, we've done the bar thing a few times. One of the girls (the younger one) really let loose one night after she'd had a few drinks. Wondering if the lead cashier is over me reprimanding her about leaving the register unattended to “help” the other cashier that was helping me with a reset. The sad part is I gave the same reprimand to the my closing cashier and they didn’t get bent about it. Clearly they feel they’re above it all due to their tenure at the store.

some people can't handle being reprimanded; some can. but if they get offended or anything, i simply do NOT care. i've been in customer service long enough to where i don't give a shit if someone gets upset over something i say...especially if i have to reprimand them (verbally or otherwise).

there's a girl where i work who got a bit upset at the way a co-worker said something to her. and the guy who said it isn't known to say anything in a bad tone, or anything. he's just rather straightforward and will tell it like it needs to be told (and i absolutely applaud that). well, she "didn't like the way he talked to her". when he told me about it, today, (the "incident" happened yesterday when i was off), i started laughing and said, "yeah, 'cause you're here to worry about her feelings."

she's a constant talker and is always asking about this person or that person and what they're doing. what time do they get off? white time is my break? what time did so-and-so go on break? even one of our managers, today, said, "damn, does she ever shut up?" i said, "you just learn to ignore it."

she's a decent worker; she's good with customers....but jeez louise...shut the hell up for 5 minutes and lemme have some peace and quiet.

The guy who relieves me at the desk is like that. Can't finish one sentence before starting on another one totally unrelated to the first one and it goes on like that until I sign off. The really annoying part is he shows up 90 minutes early! He drives me nuts because I'm doing my thing, sending emails or even just surfing the web and he's there's yakking nonstop about BS and random shit. The bosses don't give a **** either so I'm SOL
