Yeah, the snow level with jetpack usage. Jet-pack feels great! spoilers on the demo

[Show spoiler]Basically you are riding in on the aircraft thing, shooting on a scripted path and taking out some sea platforms and then you go by foot for a while to eventually using the jet-pack to at first hop ice bergs, which the scenery looks absolutely amazing (blows away the water in the multiplayer demo) then you destroy some rig, picked up to head to another part, then from there you take out some turrents (nest I think they call them) with some wasp missiles, they are mounted but you can un-mount them and take them with you. Then you arrive at a gondola and two helgans come off, cut scene where you and Rico take them out, end of demo

Rico is still lame but not as lame as before and he'll actually revive you.

Gameplay is good, though not as weighted feeling as KZ2.. Kind of like developers decided to meet the COD fanatics halfway. I prefer the feel of more weight as it was in KZ2 but still feels good in KZ3. Lets just hope by KZ4 it doesn't straight feel weightless/physicless like COD games. Melee's are very satisfying.

Level size is a huge increase in the size of the environments, the environment is massive with fantastic draw distance. If you were in a corridor perhaps you'd feel it was maybe close to KZ2, but the scope is so much more than any KZ2 level.

No. somebody completed the game on Normal in 4hours 33 but that was a speed playthrough and their best possible time for each level with no deaths and not their first playthrough but it started the rumour of the game is only 4 hours long

I for one will be playing on the hardest difficulty and taking my time so i expect to get at least 8 hours but probably well over 10 hours as i should die quite a bit

Update from GG via Twitter:

"servers will be offline between 10:20 and 11:20 GMT for maintenance"

So, hopefully once this is done all will be well with online beta play

an update on the beta on their, now working, website advises that GG are acting on the following feedback:

connection problems
high load causing the database to fall over
score posting
flickering screens
ribbon stats not updating
vulgarity filter

What? Vulgarity filter??? Is that some kind of live speech recognition to block words from players who swear a lot? I've nothing against that, but is that really what it is?

No its for people people with offensive PSN names, seems the filter has been over sensitive and blocking people with perfectly fine PSN names

No worries, haha. I love how KZ2 multiplayer was set up with its constantly changing and varied gamemodes.

Downloaded update 1.01 last night, missed the single player demo though cause the update was so late

According to the PS Blog, the KZ3 single player demo SHOULD be automatically downloaded on every PS+ PS3...we'll see when I get home!
