I work at Best Buy and went into the back yesterday to hide my copy of the exclusive... unfortunately the shooting script and Blu-ray are packaged together and until the plastic around it is open I can't tell if the blu-ray that comes with the script has that cover. Also, it's not the regular edition that comes with the slipcover, but the combo pack that includes the DVD and digital copy. So mad I didn't get in on the briefcase, but the BB exclusive will tide me over until it drops in price on ebay.

Is it terrible I'm considering selling my briefcase just to get the steelbook instead? I really want the steelbook but I don't think I can justify another $35 when I've already spent $50.

You should keep waiting to sell it though. The value on it will continue going up because it's rare. You haven't opened it yet, have you?

Yea I will be heading up to Best Buy tomorrow, and I really want the exclusive edition with the script. Hoping it will have a lenticular as well. If you can find out ahead of time that would be awesome.

I was wondering the same thing. He must not have his settings set well on his ps3. I have a Samsung bluray player, and my ps3, and the ps3 definetly looks better, runs smoother, and loads blurays quicker. Every where you look, any review site will tell you that the ps3 is one of the best bluray players on the market.

as for the inception bluray, im going for the BB exclusive!

I guess if you are wanting to sell, don't feel bad, but now is the time to do it. I believe someone said they were fetching close to $200, as soon as more people get them though, they will start appearing on eBay more and more and the price will drop so if you have it, you may want to consider posting it now. If you don't have the steelbook reserved, it's probably going to be unlikely that you get one at FYE, but eBay will be your best bet.

Chances are it will, it would not make sense to make a non-lenticular cover for their exclusive edition. Looks the briefcase versions have the lenticular cover as well, I know the 3-disc combo is a lenticular cover at Best Buy, so my guess is that is the standard case design for all of the 3-disc combo editions regardless of where you buy (Amazon, Best Buy, Target, etc). The exclusive part of the BB edition is the added script book and the slipcase with different artwork.

This years Blu ray players from what I heard now trump the PS3. That was true a year ago or so, but lots of todays players seem to load faster. There are several reviewers out there that did speed tests and the PS3 is no longer near the top. PQ wise im not sure.

Of the steelbook? That would be surprising if they did in fact get more later. From what I have heard from chatter between store employees is they are barely getting enough to fill pre-orders. If one store had 5 pre-orders, but originally were only scheduled to get 2, they then would get the 3 copies needed from other stores, which then would mean that store they pull from won't get their allotment. Sounds like the pre-orders are the priority for FYE right now with the juggling of copies between stores, and rightfully so.

Yes, of the steelbook. I called asking about it today and the guy said that the 2 pre-orders they had were reserved but they will be getting more in on Thursday. He could have been mistaken but I heard him get off the phone and talk with his manager. I don't know.

Are you at least one of those two initial pre-orders? If not, I wouldn't put too much stock in them getting more, but you may want to reserve one with your name/number if they will do that just in case.

No, I'm not. I got the briefcase so I wasn't planning on getting another copy, but I really love the look of the steelbook.

The guy told me I could come in and reserve one of the ones coming in on Thursday for $5 but wouldn't let me do it over the phone since I have to pay.

Could be that they are getting a few extras maybe for preorders they had, but customers canceled perhaps? I'd get down there and put that $5 down as soon as you can, before others do.

Got my WB Exclusive Limited Edition Briefcase today (US Edition)! After unpacking I noticed a scratch that runs right between the "O" and "N" the entire width of the briefcase, and a small dent where the clasping side bends to the bottom. I'll upload photos after the camera battery charges. Anyone else have damaged cases? Is there anything that can be done?

I'm definitely thinking about it. I'm just not sure I can justify the $35 when I already have the briefcase, you know? That's my huge issue.

from what I've read, it will be region free as most WB titles are.

I canceled my pre-order from amazon.co.uk when I got in on the WBShop briefcase, but something must not have took because it's still being shipped to me. Kinda sucks, I really don't want two briefcases.

Anyways, my WBShop briefcase should be here today, and although I didn't want to open it, I think I will anyways because tonight is the only night within the next week I'll be able to watch the movie due to my work schedule.

I'll open the case, keep everything sealed except the blu-ray case, probably give the top a whirl, then store everything in my slipbox storage. No way I'm showcasing this thing on my shelves. I believe in uniformity
