Uh people are trying to say that this set is better compared to the first. Everything that was said about the first set is true and valid. It all depends on if you choose to let the video problems ruin your enjoyment of the series as a whole. Personally I won't let it happen but there are others on this board and around the rest of the web that feel strongly about the issue. Do I think its right to keep spamming the same things out there again and again every couple of posts no but they are valid concerns and complaints that should be heard in some way shape or form.

Mine arrived today, and so did my S.H Figuarts Sailor Uranus.

The sticker on the slipcover is dumb, but meh, into the closet it went.

Yeah, its improved a bit but the guys in charge of the video still haven't learned to do a proper de-interlace job.

Its still bad in the first intro (Not sure if its better in the second one, haven't gotten that far.) and some scenes in episode 25 are just awful for it (Most of the ghosting I saw in that episode surfaced from when Makoto was moving around, it seems darker colors tend to ghost a lot more than the lighter ones.)

I will say the colorations are far more consistent this time around though. Less oversaturation all-around.

Maybe R will get better, though the attitude they put forth on the consumer complaints in the last set doesn't fill me with much hope.

Anyone suggest to them to work on their de-interlacing? I would post that on FB or Twitter and see what they say. I mean it can't be that hard to stop the ghosting can it?

Judging by what's been released, R looks much worse.

Okay, that is what I was confused on.

Sure, I can understand why people would be upset, but as I have said before, I've never seen the show look better on my TV screen. Those ADV DVDs looked and sounded awful. However, I get the disappointment. My problem comes down to when people are trying to force their opinion of why the BDs are crap down the throats to everyone whether they care that much or not to the point that it feels like they are trying to ruin someone's enjoyment of it.

Now I will agree that R on Hulu looks bad, but I think that has to do with it being Hulu. Their streams just look awful all of the time. Hell, even when I watch their Simpsons HD episodes they look like they are in SD.

I have high speed internet and Hulu streams look pretty great, better than digital HD cable actually. Season one looked only marginally better on Blu-Ray than it did on my Hulu stream but R looks far worse.

It's just Hulu though, no need to worry about it. I'd rather support a service that I don't have to watch commercials with when I am paying for said service.

No we haven't. Which is making me wonder if it's going to be released later than every 3 months like we were anticipating. I'm starting to think it might be every 3 months between parts 1 and 2 of a season but longer between each season. I seen the actress who plays Jupiter at a con said earlier this month that they were almost half done with R.

Maybe it is because I refuse to get Plus, but anything I watch on Hulu looks like ass. Oh sorry, that was the commercial I was seeing. Everything looks soft and discolored be it Sailor Moon R to Simpsons S26 episodes.

Sailor moon season 1 part 2 blu Ray arrived today. Also right stuf gave me the pre order art cards even though I didn't pre order in time. Hey said I barely missed getting the cards.

No I havent there was a paper that came with the set that explains why I got the art cards. Because I have barely missed the cut off to the cards and because they had extras they sent me them.

Alright I don't know what viz media was thinking the blu Ray for part 2 looks weird with the shimmer slip cover in the season 1 box. Also the case with the slip cover sticks out a tiny bit nothing too major. And what's the deal with the sticker on the slip cover? I hope viz media doesn't do this for the 2nd part of season 2. Oh well I'm putting the slip cover on my shelf to display it.
