And does anyone know exactly why they're only planning to release 3 of the 4 films from this series?

I don’t even think Black Sun was mentioned when they made the announcement way back when. Maybe issues with rights or elements, like you said.

Dammit man! No 4K for MBTS sucks but I am very relieved that release is not cancelled altogether. At least we're still getting what will probably be a fantastic blu-ray so there is a silver lining.

I'll take non-restored dvds of any and all his 80s/90s output. Especially his films from 1988-89. Muscle, Pervert Ward: S&M Clinic, Rewind, Survey Map of a Paradise Lost, Love Letter in the Sand, Love Obsession. All bangers. We just need legit releases with subs! I don't care what the transfers look like. See for example Synapse's Lolita Vibrator Torture release. Pretty please?

Hi there Lilith. Welcome to the forum. I was curious if Massacre Video have any plans in the future to release 4k UHDs. I still love blu rays, but 4k UHDs really do look amazing. As far as title suggestions, I would love to see Tetsuji Takechi's "Daydream"(1981) and Yoichi Takabayashi's "Irezumi"(1982).

We stumbled upon 20 copies of Tumbling Doll of Flesh in our warehouse and they're up for grabs in our webstore. And I mean, who doesn't want more flesh tumbling around their living room, am I right?

These are the last ones we've got until we do another full run, so if you want it, come and get it before it's gone. We should be doing another run in a few months, from what I'm told.

And hey, if you've got any other ideas for films you think we should release, shoot 'em our way! We want to hear from you, the true horror aficionados.

I'd like to see Massacre Video at least properly upgrade some of its past DVD releases to Blu-ray such as Mutilations (1986) & Black Devil Doll From Hell (1984) among others.
Other companies such as Terror Vision and Bleeding Skull! have already done such restorations and Blu-ray presentations for other 1980's "Shot On Video" films and they look better than I ever expected.

As for other film suggestions, I need some "realistic parameters" to work with here before I submit my choices!
(decades, countries, studios, filmmakers, sub-genres, etc.)
If not, I'll just end up listing like a thousand or more films. Ha ha!

The Abomination - I know Massacre Video did a VHS release not so sure on a dvd release. There was a big box VHS style release, I have the 555 which was a dvd.
