Would anyone be interested in making a custom for the Lionsgate BD of Hard Candy using this poster? The poster is so much better!

on some of these other sites for covers how do you know if its the proper size or even what size it is?

For instance on hirescovers.net
http://www.hirescovers.net/gallery/d...php?pid=115827

and is there a way to contact the uploader?

It gives you the size in the description: 3173x1762 which is a 10.58"x5.87" standard size Blu-ray case. At most cover sites that's the preferred upload size.

I thought maybe something like this would be more in keeping with your first three.

I like that, too. Where did you find that poster without the border? I think I found one I like pretty well:

It's the same one they used on the blu-ray, but it would be cool to have the blue lightsaber, the top of Ren's lightsaber and the laser blasts by the Falcon outside the border.

Phew! I was afraid you might take offense at me fiddling with your work.

I cobbled the uncropped artwork together from several different versions of the poster. (The horizontal banner version contained more image on the sides, for example. ) The extensions to Finn's lightsaber and the TIE blasts are my own creations, as I couldn't find them uncropped anywhere. My final file is a patchwork of different resolutions that isn't too pretty up close, but it works fine at Blu-ray/DVD size. PM me and I'll send you the combined image.

Not adressed to you in particular, just soap-boxing:
This is the unsung part of custom covers; tracking down, combining and cleaning up many different versions of a poster to get the most complete version possible. Most times you have to cut it apart and rearrange the elements to fit on the Blu-ray. The Adam Relf version of Force Awakens that I did has at least 7 different seams in the front artwork, being cut up and moved around.

So it's not just a case of "slapping a poster on the front" like some people think :-) (Then again, I've seen many so-called "cover artists" do just that, just cropping off the bottom or squeezing the image and calling it a day.)

I've had to do that a few times. One particular time is with a Groundhog Day cover. I had to basically remove the two actors from the poster with the clone stamp, then put them back in, but in different spots. I had to do something similar on the back of my Force Awakens cover. The original picture of Han & Rey was too wide, so I had to move them closer together; she's supposed to be looking at the blaster, but now she looks more like she's checking Han out.

Since we are showing our lightsabres, I'll post my take on Episode 7.

I made this to go with a set of SW covers from another artist I'm using. Sorry I can't recal who, but perhaps he will say. Anyway, I formatted the poster with the border for the front with a custom back. The spine is formatted to match the other covers.

Default Year of the Dragon

Okay, here's something that may be of use or may not. Released in France with a decent transfer, but no English subtitles. FYI, there is a LOT of Chinese dialog in this movie. Subtitles for the Chinese dialog is a must.

How do I know there is a LOT of Chinese dialog that needs to be subtitled? Try creating a subtitle file for it. You'll know ;(.

Here is a subtitle file for those that know what to do with it...

And here is my cover...

Hi all.
I answered 60+ private messages this morning. Please don't make repeat requests after just a few days, please don't ask for a "read confirmation", please be specific about which Star Wars set you want. Rest assured, all (polite) messages will be answered.
That is all.

That's what I want too. Another site has it but I don't have the credits for it.
