Just want to put a quick note down and thank Volcomsocal / Dodger_blue311 for showing me what's what in Crota's End, and actually clearing it with me on both normal mode and hard mode. I ended up with The Last Word, Swordbreaker and Fang of Ir Yût. I had been wanting TLW for quite some time, so that was a pleasant bonus on top of an already awesome experience. In fact, this whole past week has been great thanks to every one of the people I played with. You guys are the shit.

Xur came with Patience and Time this week, so I picked that up along with 2 exotic engrams which gave me Lucky Raspberry and The Armamentium. So far, a damn good week for me.

That's an impressive haul of weapons for one night of work.

I'd like to thank Xur for another week of disappointment. No Ram, no Bones. He's lucky you can't fire rockets in the tower. Looks like another anticlimactic trip to buy 100 heavies for the week.

You're doing better than I am. I've had about the worst two weeks of RNG that I've had since I started raiding and doing nightfalls with three characters.

That's ok, though, because I'm doing Skolas with Andy tonight so he can get his emblem and I'm on the edge of my seat about the amazing rewards coming after the fight.

I'm at a point now where I have to seriously make hard choices in terms of dismantling weapons that I want to keep but don't use much to free up space starting with the shotguns.

Got the Ash Factory (rocket) yesterday from the crucible. Sweet!

Yeah and with all these new weapons they're planning on releasing I don't know how I'm going to have room for anything And who knows when we'll get more vault space, since they said that it doesn't seem possible with last-gen hanging around.

After more use in PVP with Last Word, I've decided I disagree with people who say its useless for PVE and perfect for PVP, I'd say almost the opposite.

While the guns speed makes it better than most non-exotic Handcannons, the fact that the faster you shoot the harder the gun is to aim just makes it like a auto rifle without the bonus of those guns medium - long range. In PVP your guns do far less damage so losing range and accuracy too is just a further blow.

It's great for spray and play in PVE, and there the gun does really high damage which means the loss of accuracy isn't felt nearly as much but I find it's extremely hit and miss on PVP unless I use it like a shotgun to catch them off guard and never take on more than one enemy at once.

If you think TLW doesn't have any range in PvP I'd suggest you keep trying or YouTube TLW crucible and see what people who use it well can do.
