Crazy stat - the top 3 passer efficiency rating seasons of all time are all QB's this season.

FWIW, it looks like Burrow likely locked up the Heisman with today's performance, and Chase young's issues.

Glad to see LSU beat Bama. Could be one hell of a playoff with LSU, Ohio St., Clemson. Bama's loss was close enough that they're still likely to make the 4 spot as long as they win out. I still think Ohio St. would have at least a slight edge over LSU.

Bama doesn't have any big wins So they should be done unless there's a lot of upsets.

Saw these projected point spreads from an oddsmaker about a week ago for potential playoff teams' remaining schedules. Obviously, Clemson's path is by far the easiest, with no ranked teams left. Ohio St. has some big games left, but are probably heavily favored in all. Alabama can probably still make the playoff if they beat Auburn.

Clemson's projected spreads:

@ NC State -27
vs. Wake Forest -28.5
@ South Carolina -23.5
vs. Miami -24 (potential ACC title game). Clemson-Virginia seems more likely.

Ohio St.'s projected spreads:

@ Rutgers -52

vs. Penn St. -15
@ Michigan -14
vs. Minnesota -24 (potential Big Ten title game). With the way Minnesota beat Penn St. today I'm starting to think they're legit.

LSU's projected spreads:

@ Ole Miss -19.5
vs. Arkansas -35.5
vs. Texas A&M -14.5
vs. Georgia -4.5 (potential SEC title game)

Alabama's projected spreads:

@ Mississippi St. -23.5
vs. Western Carolina (no line)
@ Auburn -8.5

Georgia's potential spreads:

@ Auburn +1
vs. Texas A&M -10.5
@ Georgia Tech -28
vs. LSU +4.5 (potential SEC title game)

Oklahoma's projected spreads:

@ Baylor -10
vs. TCU -20

They're probably going to fall in the rankings far less than you think. Penn St. also lost. Bet Bama ends up somewhere between 4-6 in the polls tomorrow, behind the obvious three and maybe some combination of Georgia, Oklahoma, Oregon, none of the latter three I'd put money on winning out.

Like I've said, if Alabama wins out I'd be surprised if they don't make it. We've seen this before.
