Young Guns 2 added (but not on sale). Hopefully Young Guns 1 will follow shortly.

This will be interesting to, like, three or four people I suspect, maybe.

Now there are two listings for The Beatles flick Help! (1965).
and they ain't cheap. ($17.99)

The original listing which includes extras and has a 3.98GB HD file:

Help! by The Beatles https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/help/id657312570

and this one , with a 4.06GB HD file, which was just added this week:

Help! by The Beatles https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/help/id1468148853

Both are the same price, both have the same runtime and are released by the same studio.

However, one has extras and the other has a very very slightly bigger HD file.
Plus, one is rated G , the other NR and different rental prices for both.

A similar thing happened with The Ten Commandments (1956) a couple years ago.
Two separate listings , different file sizes , different run times ( which turned out to be false) and one had more subtitle options.
So, I bought both. Now the one with more subtitle options is the only one listed in the U.S. Store.

Finally, a question.

When a title or version of a title is pulled from the store
does it still retain its "extras" for those who purchased it previously ?

Probably, but not necessarily, and there's no telling if extras will always be there for a title regardless if it's pulled.

I have in my iTunes library some Fast & Furious movies that were redeemed from digital copy codes - 5, 6, and 7 redeemed as the extended editions where it actually says "extended edition" on the cover art, and I don't see those actually for sale in the store any more. These three all have extras right now.

I wish. And too bad the Clone Wars movie isn't being sold on iTunes either (unless you redeemed the digital copy for an SD version).

Probably the worst sale I've seen on a Monday.

With that said, Seinfeld: The Complete Series just dropped 21% to $78.99. (All time low is $69.99, last year on 7/23...) I'll continue to wait. So will you.

P.S. All 4 seasons of "The Incredible Hulk" (Ferigno/Bixby, all in SD) are $4.99 each. (1/2/3/4).

Talking Tarantino 6-Film Collection $19.99

(Not in this iTunes bundle of Lionsgate films are Inglourious Basterds (Weinstein Company), Django Unchained (Lionsgate), The Hateful Eight (Weinstein Company), Death Proof (Dimension Films) and of course "Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood" (Sony Pictures).) Wouldn't be surprised to see some if not all of his films -- and possibly this bundle -- drop in price at the end of the month when his new film comes out.
Updated price. Left my ending in haha.

These two movies are on sale for $4.99 right now.

Ridley Scott's The Counselor
Doug Liman's Mr. & Mrs. Smith

There are two versions on iTunes of each film. Make sure to only buy the theatrical cut of "The Counselor" as you get the "Unrated" version in the iTunes extras. You can buy either version of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and you'll get both versions.

Thanks!

Relatively, I’m disappointed in this sale (for me).

I was kind of hoping to see Fast Five for $4.99. I have the unrated version from years ago, but was wanting to get the 4K version with iTunes extras. I’m a little surprised to see a Furious franchise on sale now. I was expecting that next week when Hobbs & Shaw comes out on August 2nd.

I have no idea why 'Death Proof' isn't the last movie in the Tarantino collection instead of FDTD.

I believe someone said because they count kill bill as one movie split up into two parts.

The Tarantino collection is listed Lionsgate while Death Proof is listed as Dimension Films. Im assuming thats why its not included.

I too was hoping for cheaper Fast Furious flicks. Oh well, just High Life this week for me.

It’s been awhile— but has ‘Grindhouse’ ever been released as the double feature it was theatrically on home video?

Or it’s always been separate?

I'm thinking of buying Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Both the theaterical cut and unrated cut are on sale. The theaterical version has the unrated cut as an extra and the unrated cut has the theaterical cut as an extra. Which version might get the future 4k upgrade?

Usually its been the regulars that get the 4k upgrade.

Probably why Django Unchained isn't on the list either.
