Default Receiver Guidance: VSX-834 VS VSXLX104

VSX-834 -- https://www.bestbuy.com/site/pioneer...?skuId=6333561

VSXLX104 -- https://www.bestbuy.com/site/pioneer...?skuId=6338687

Hoping I can get a little insight here to some who may have a better idea than myself:

I currently have a Pioneer Elite VSX-52 but after recently upgrading and getting a 4K TV, it's time for me to upgrade my receiver as well for 4K pass through for some of my devices (as well as ease-of-use for bluetooth music playback, among some other things).

Doing a side-by-side comparison on Best Buy's website, I can't tell a huge difference between these two receivers, and why I would spend over a hundred dollars more on the Elite receiver (which I'm fine doing, just want to know why and if it's worth it).

Can someone give some insight as to what the main differences are here and help my decision one way or the other?! Haha.

For what it's worth, the lx104 is going to be $380 on Black Friday, is that makes your decision any easier. Personally, I would consider the lx104's additional HDMI inputs/output, built-in phono stage, and the ability to use banana plugs for all of the speaker terminals advantages over the 834.

For the record, I don't own either of these receivers. I'm just going by the specs.

Edit: I had the model#s backwards before. It is now fixed.

The lx104 is also IMAX enhanced, according to Pioneer's website. Best Buy's listing left out that detail.

Not sure how I overlooked the banana plug option with the Elite, so that right there makes the decision haha. Thank you both - just a little bit extra input goes a long way sometimes!
